  • MajJohnCClark Major J.C. Clark (@MajJohnCClark) reported from Grandview, Missouri

Too bad ABC, CBS, NBC & AOL are all being silent on all the revelations of the past week. Obama orchestrated it all.

Give it up #NFLNetwork - awful broadcast. Commentators 👎 and the same 4 commercials in each break. For those savvy people, they blocked the ability to direct the sound to the HonePod. Short sightedness is what ended Blockbuster and AOL. Time to put the viewers first #nfl

@cmt_michael @JeremiahEXE Yeah. AOL (America On-Line) had something called "Guides." I'm not sure if that service still even exists. But they'd hang around the chat rooms and see if everything was going okay. Kind of like hall monitors.

  • DrJohnFrancis Dr. Francis 🇺🇲 (@DrJohnFrancis) reported

@ashk4n @Twitter Seriously, this type of oversight has easily been avoided since AOL took down Sanford Wallace.

  • balsamspecific determinazione make me lose control (@balsamspecific) reported

if i’m gonna be completely transparent, the moment I moved from AOL to AT&T dial-up was because of the first harry potter movie trailer which kept crashing my AOL connection (my mom made me responsible for most internet things then but she agreed to call AOL to cancel service)

  • CenterCitySid Sid (@CenterCitySid) reported

@_BigMu__ They are absolutely terrible! It’s like the AOL of phone insurance.

  • deOrygun 𝕾𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖒𝖜𝖆𝖙𝖈𝖍 (@deOrygun) reported

@txvoodoo And AOL. Computer support meant you knew everything. Ah, the good old days, when anyone with brain could be a wizard.

  • CallanCove Elijah 🌃🚦 (@CallanCove) reported

Discord is down time to return to AOL

  • hondanhon Dan Hon (@hondanhon) reported

If you had someone trying to figure out what happens when bonding multiple internet connections to a mid-90s ISP that never got renamed to AOL, you could call it the Quantum Double SLIP Experiment.

  • digitaldraco Mike Draco ex Machina (@digitaldraco) reported

@beccacamping_ I completely missed MySpace, somehow! I was aware of it but never got drawn in for whatever reason. I don't think I knew anyone using it so that probably didn't help. Started on AOL, went to LJ, then jumped over to FB.

  • QuotableGuru Guru (@QuotableGuru) reported

@washingtonpost The Department of Justice sued Microsoft for including internet explorer with Windows but AOL never got in trouble for sending out millions of unwanted disks to everyone’s house.

  • mamawhodat722 Sharon Zarruk (@mamawhodat722) reported
