Too bad ABC, CBS, NBC & AOL are all being silent on all the revelations of the past week. Obama orchestrated it all.

Give it up #NFLNetwork - awful broadcast. Commentators 👎 and the same 4 commercials in each break. For those savvy people, they blocked the ability to direct the sound to the HonePod. Short sightedness is what ended Blockbuster and AOL. Time to put the viewers first #nfl

Stunning development here as it turns out I'm able to connect to the Starbucks WiFi after all. Speed is an issue, we're talking AOL dial-up type stuff here, but the signs of life have greatly improved morale for the whole team.

Damn Dave really is up Tony’s ***. Not to mention if Tony did study wrestling he would know it had nothing to do with Ted Turner and the biggest reason why WCW is no longer around is the simple fact AOL took over

Last time I checked. Nitro fell behind and collapsed after Ted Turner was phased out after AOL/Time Warner merger? Am I wrong? If not what ******** is Khan talking about?

Albert Albanese
(@KydJustice) reported
@WrestlingBios My first though when I read this. It's like the AOL-Time Warner merger never happened to him ( and a lot of other people who constantly blame WCW's booking for them going under)
-
Jared Wise
(@THEJAREDWISE) reported
Never mind the fact that Ted Turner had no choice as to whether or not WCW went out of business as he was no longer in control of the company he created and AOL/Time Warner did not want wrestling as a part of their conglomerate. That was a very bad move by Mr. Khan.
-
Albert Albanese
(@KydJustice) reported
@wrestleism @WrestlingBios They still were one of the highest rated shows on TNT despite booking. They got cancelled after AOL-Time Warner merged and they didn't want Wrestling on their network. WCW going under had literally 0 to do with booking.

Eric E. Hurley (I'm glad you exist) Thank you Miss
(@Hurlamania) reported
@cms116 @Fightful No you need to understand what happened because of the aol time Warner merger. WCW was Ted's baby he would never let it go if he still had a choice in the matter. He didn't say that point he loved wrestling and WCW

@DavidPoland Disney is not Netflix and Wall Street needs to realize that, or else end up like the poor sods who invested in AOL after the Time Warner merger.

@WrestlingCovers Well some of the comments today are a bit ridiculous. Tony is wrong when he said WCW would have kept going if Ted wasn't there. AOL/Time Warner killed WCW Fact. They didn't care how much money they made Fact. They didn't want them and u got to have a TV Network to air on.

Southfloridelphia
(@SouthFloridelph) reported
@jet7111 @WrestlingCovers Yes and no. While people today would kill for the numbers Nitro was doing near the end, the numbers had dropped tremendously. Nitro was doing less than Heat (WWF C show). Had they been doing 97-98 numbers it would have been hard for AOL/TW to shut it down.
