    Hard to believe I first published on the internet 30 years ago – a "home page" on my AOL webspace. Wish I could somehow dig up that review I wrote for that Toadies album or the essay on how the worst thing a person could do is key someone's car.

    @RossKneeDeep Things I’ve used in the last year: check book (to find my routing and account numbers) aol account (to finally cancel my wife’s Taste of Home subscription) and a postcard, (because some Kimpton hotels mail their own postcards from their hotels for free via usps)

    @lady_valor_07 Still use my aol email. Never been hacked or had any problems. I loke the format so much better than gmail.

    @e_pavlich I actually never had an aol email. I did have a hotmail one though - I think that was my first.

    @EscapedORforFL @Sadie_NC No. AOL provided the service of the internet. They _were_ the ISP. You used your existing phone line via a modem. AOL wasn’t even the only one doing this. I used Delphi the same way.
