@AOLSupportHelp Lies. Your spam filter is learning NOTHING. Half of what's in spam are IMPORTANT emails I'm missing. I don't even know WHEN to check spam since you refuse to have an unread mail indicator next to spam. Clearly this isn't a problem you have the brains to solve. Leaving for gmail.

After much mediation and soul searching, I figured out what my New Years resolution for online stuff is... get better at replying to messages on Twitter, Instagram and Discord. I have not seen so many messages not replied to since I checked my AOL in 10th grade...7k email!

@LyddonB That is a big problem that media companies are still trying to solve. I covered Iowa City and Marion for Patch, which was an AOL local news initiative that they bailed out of after shareholders didn't like what it was doing to their stock. A good financial model remains elusive.

Norton Antivirus makes it impossible to cancel a subscription auto renewal (they require it to start). It makes you have to do a live chat. I thought that was illegal...what is this 1990s AOL?

@aolmail I called bcuz email acct on Mac mail was not wrking & I was trying to execute on the instructions AOL sent for updating. Your rep told me to delete the acct w/o asking questions. Still did not recog & lost 30k of my pers emails. Supervisor gave me no help and disconnected call.
