After much mediation and soul searching, I figured out what my New Years resolution for online stuff is... get better at replying to messages on Twitter, Instagram and Discord. I have not seen so many messages not replied to since I checked my AOL in 10th grade...7k email!

These kids today will never understand what it feels like to be excited to download your music from Limewire, all to hear “AOL Music” or “Black and beats vibe baby” before each song — you didn’t care cause it was free and still blasted on repeat!

@DeadCaitBounce @jposhaughnessy The funny thing is that you could almost never get online with AOL.

The main thing weighing on the stock price is the unknown. First in, or loudest, is not always the winner. Look at AOL. AOL was the internet. Then they completely tanked. Too much spending, bad business plan, the brand crumbled under the weight of a million mailed CDs.

@Mark_Phillips Mark, I just can’t figure it out. There are so many looking into BTC, investment Co’s rolling out offerings, states pushing legislations to accept as currency, etc It’s like they all want AOL to survive SO bad that they are ignoring Google getting diddled in the corner by the SEC

@NanoRaptor And the worst thing is they never numbered them, so you would have to find all 100 punch cards of the same color to install AOL..

@Mindwbw Yes and no. There’s a decent chance that $fb could be in a slow death spiral. I remember it seemed like AOL and Netscape would rule the internet forever, that could be FB. There is a lot of animus against FB by a growing majority, less time spent there by many.

@Ask_Spectrum Our internet speed is so slow its almost non-existent in zipcode 29568. Our internet is slower than AOL dial up in the 1990's. This has been going on for about a week now. Please respond.

@philippineTesla @howardlindzon You could probably run $TWTR like an AOL dial-up service at 80% margins and make cash

@kitchen It's true. We'd keep a pen and a bunch of old AOL punchcards near the phone for taking down notes about calls.
