After much mediation and soul searching, I figured out what my New Years resolution for online stuff is... get better at replying to messages on Twitter, Instagram and Discord. I have not seen so many messages not replied to since I checked my AOL in 10th grade...7k email!

@rynhayden So are you using a service for email? Because Juno, Aol, and Yahoo emails are in use by many church people.... and they are all stuck on old SPAM checking protocols... Have fun debugging! :)

@King_Milkfart @leahprime @johnbruso I think if people really understood how much of the interweb economy works, they’d get that bots will always be found within any highly trafficked website or app. The last large org to not have this issue, was "pre-broadband everywhere AOL". Someone prove me wrong, please.

in the sauna today 2 guys talking about direct email marketing. Probably 20 years older than me, probably just out of college during AOL/Hotmail boom. They were flabbergasted when i told them i’ve never once purchased anything from an email offer - i’m shocked anyone does.

@Lonewolfdogma My very first screen name on aol was Ubilam2 or Ubi for short and it’s true. I never remember my email and password to log in.
