@Prof_Amezy I never said it was bad. Just that it's the human equivalent to the AOL startup sound for thinking.

  • The_RobotechGuy TheRobotechGuy 🔞 (@The_RobotechGuy) reported

@markstrom_kris @ElieNYC Seriously? If you're older (like me) then why the hell are you listening to some ****** influencer chasing clout on Twitter? Did you SLEEP THROUGH AOL or something? What happened to "Never believe everything you read online"?

  • DeeAnna_93 DeeAnna 🇭🇹 (@DeeAnna_93) reported

@UberFacts AOL CDs coming in the mail. You would download it to upgrade your internet service.

  • KevinGr89871164 Sly as the Fox (@KevinGr89871164) reported

@DuskyArtz This is a comunity. Over the past week I lost 2 friends I have known since the time I first came on line. Though I never met them face to face when there names showed up back in AOL days on my buddy list I smiled.

  • MzYummyDread Ms. Erika 🧁 (@MzYummyDread) reported

@QueenKristoff @fancytomboy @audaciouskay I wasn't on Yahoo chats like that. My home was AOL chats because I had so many of those damn cd's.

  • DrShaffopolis Chris Shaffer (@DrShaffopolis) reported

Duh, AOL minutes are worthless today because a central entity could print them. If there had been a cryptographically-enforced hard cap on the number of minutes in circulation then they'd never have been debased. Glad we've learned our lessons.

  • TalonInTx Derek Garrison (@TalonInTx) reported

@tatted_khaleesi I worked for AOL as "remote staff" AKA a chat moderator for years in the 1990s and that was a common harassment question even back then. It's pretty bad when people think they're being clever for harassment that's well over 30 years old.
