If you guess your aol password incorrectly three times it locks you out for 12 hours. No customer service override. This is not how you provide customer satisfaction an why I moved to Gmail 😂

@jaycethepoodle @CoinClubQuincy @digitalassetbuy I agree with the sentiment of bitcoiners and their stance towards sovereignity , It was a great prototype. The fact is, it doesn't work, it's terrible for payments . Conversely Its turned into a dollar sink that helps the FED print more fiat. Its the AOL of blockchain.

@Josh3174 My main fear there is that NBC has already shown they are gun shy when it comes to some of wrestling's edgier nature (such as editing Attitude Era shows on the Network.) So, I fear they would interfere a lot similar to AOL/Time Warner in WCW in the 90s.

Twitter has degraded noticeably since they downsized. The platform is ponderously slow. Nearly every day. Perhaps Twitter has “peaked”. Perhaps it’s beginning a downhill technological slide into oblivion. Remember AOL? MySpace?

@character_ai needs to figure its **** out in terms of user capacity. It's been all the tech buzz long enough to know it needs to address this. Seriously, it was easier to log on to AOL in 1993 with my landline than it is to #CharacterAI with my iPhone tonight.

The post-Musk downfall of twitter reminds me a lot of what happened to huffington post. In the early days, it used be this fun, rambunctious, free-wheeling site, but after the AOL acquisition, it was totally gutted and became another boring, buzzfeed-esque pile of garbage.

@DeBasedGhost @21Energy_io @hashing2heating There will be competition. The weaker technology will fade. BTC honestly has no use case in the long term. NONE. AOL is a news service, and an email provider, and its Intranet Hub is GONE / DEAD. So too will BTC meet its end.... in complete death as a chain. 8 yrs max IMHO.

@Josh3174 That much is true. I've never understood AOL's desire to jettison their most popular programming at the time.
