If you guess your aol password incorrectly three times it locks you out for 12 hours. No customer service override. This is not how you provide customer satisfaction an why I moved to Gmail 😂

Web2: ~ year 2008+ platform sites such as Facebook twitter, apps etc. Can be used as a platform to write. Web3: decentralized sites/apps. You read you write you host. Nobody can cancel you.

@kingkaidev 99% of the world population has never used ETH even once in their lives. Just because we live in an echo chamber doesn’t mean adoption will mimic it. Everyone loading up AOL discs probably couldn’t see past it either

Twitter was founded in March 2006. At that time I was 14. You can‘t say ****. My first platform to interact with people online was the ******* AOL chatrooms and that was a dumpsterfire in itself.

@aolmail A family member has received the most appalling customer service from #aol. Utterly shocking. All she wants to do is reset the password as she’s been locked out & the response was effectively, go away and set up another account. She has replied, but I’m not happy.

Mid-summer I had a crisis when I couldn't download one of my Verizon accounts emails from AOL into Thunderbird. Tonight I got a breakthru & managed to recreate my account on Thunderbird, AOL told me to delete. Still get same error message, but I found a fix I'll try Saturday.

@AOLSupportHelp There seems to be an email issue here in the UK where new emails disappear in a nanosecond when you click on them. Old email is completely unaccessible. What's the problem?

@CISAJen @WestPoint_USMA Compaq Presario about 2002 or so. 2003 was when high speed DSL really started taking off down here and boy being a teen when AOL AIM, the scientific pubs being accessible faster online, and online gaming really taking off was a hell of an experience!
