    If you guess your aol password incorrectly three times it locks you out for 12 hours. No customer service override. This is not how you provide customer satisfaction an why I moved to Gmail 😂

    @LeonieMAuthor 2, I never had MySpace or AOL address. I only had cheques because I was an au pair in the USA, they also became quite obsolete very early in South Africa

    @Bryghtd1 @AmadorBatten AOL was an early ISP as well; Yahoo! doesn't work all that well without an internet connexion. Before that people dialed up AOL but there was no direct internet access, although you could send e-mail to non-AOL addresses. Once upon a time, folks used non-networked computers...

    "ok, can you see a paperclip? If so, click on it." -parental tech support. Their aol account dates back to the mid-90s and yet still attaching a photo can be a challenge.

    @Mo8ius1 It could be. Internet = good, social media = bad may be a small part of this. 1990s was the rise of AOL messenger.

    @sydney_ev 1 for me… never bothered with MySpace. And AOL is US only online service, so consider it a perfect score for you if that’s your only one.
