@ifandbut01 @ThatEnglishGent @LoreReloaded @SpacedockHQ @MccabeAlasdair @EckhartsLadder No, but the FidoNet BBS's did. We also had Prodigy, and AOL. Some smaller ones as well. There has always been debate. Never has it been so bad. I remember there being a lot of hate for Voyager. Hate for DS9. The hate because, or over (neutrality sake) STD, imo is overwhelming!

@stanaquil Huh, same two for me. My parents had AOL internet, but I didn’t get an email address until I went to college. Who would I email in high school? Lol. (I never used AIM, though.) And I never had a MySpace because free website was a college perk

Richard (@richardprankin) reported
@CanadianPenny1 1. Never used AOL.

@JOtter64 Looking over this, even though I was born in 2002, there's not much on here I didn't do. I guess AOL and MySpace and I guess faxing. AOL and MySpace because I didn't even do social media until 2018 and faxing because I never had a machine.

@ethicistforhire 1 point = I've never had an AOL email address. To be fair, I am an incorrigible techno-nostalgic, so would still be doing most of these things today if given the chance.

@kheslopwrites I'm giving myself a tentative 1. I've technically had an AOL email address - with my AIM account - but never used it.

@sweetlilrima Um... I was kind of too old for MySpace. I don't think I ever had an AOL email address on purpose, but they bought my email address from my IP a few years ago. And we never bought an encyclopedia because... why would you want to own an encyclopedia? But yeah, I'm that old.
