AOL Issues Reports Near Poquetanuck, Connecticut

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Poquetanuck and nearby locations:

  • BrundIefIy Jet Screamer (@BrundIefIy) reported from New London, Connecticut

@ifandbut01 @ThatEnglishGent @LoreReloaded @SpacedockHQ @MccabeAlasdair @EckhartsLadder No, but the FidoNet BBS's did. We also had Prodigy, and AOL. Some smaller ones as well. There has always been debate. Never has it been so bad. I remember there being a lot of hate for Voyager. Hate for DS9. The hate because, or over (neutrality sake) STD, imo is overwhelming!

  • ayy_codyy Danny Ocean (@ayy_codyy) reported from Poquetanuck, Connecticut

I need to man up and let go of my AOL email account...I had that shit since I was like 13 😂😂

@WriterJane74 Never had AOL if that makes you feel better!

  • proudamericanmm Deplorable Rocky😎🏖️🎸 🇺🇸 (@proudamericanmm) reported from North Cape May, New Jersey

@salamisanwhich @AOL @PressSec They never had it affect them. My neighborhood was looted twice and boarded up for months. It's why I left. Try going to a boarded up store that has nothing to sell because it's all been stolen. Or you can't get your prescriptions because they were stolen.🤔🤔

  • polishingaturd Josh Weisman (@polishingaturd) reported

@andhankmarducas @atrupar @MiamiHerald Not a problem for me as I never remove the AOL cd from my drive

  • demetriad5369 Demetria (@demetriad5369) reported

AOL DIAL-UP! HANG UP THE PHONE 😡😡😡😡#VERZUZ

  • ryannelson Ryan Nelson (@ryannelson) reported

@eevee It doesn't matter. A top-down approach to something like the internet or metaverse won't work. What's the legacy from AOL, CompuServe, Prodigy, etc? The gif format. We'll end up with an organically grown metaverse made by people after the dust settles.

  • wsupden lil shorty bulgogi (@wsupden) reported

POPPIN MY COLLAR——wait does this dj got aol wtf

  • ZombiLiving AcornHoarder (@ZombiLiving) reported

@CryptoAmb I only feel pity for the #ethereum community. They worked so hard on the AOL of #Defi. People tried to warn them so many times over and over again. But they were too stubborn and further ruined their network with #eth 2.0

  • ReduceTheSauce Patrickmantonio (@ReduceTheSauce) reported

@STIKIDIKIJ @georgehahn @janemarielynch I meant in so far as they tried to become a partitioned section of the internet that nobody ever has to leave. And, they became cheesy AF. You are correct though that AOL never even got close to FB's algorythmic confirmation-bias dopamine-rewarding feedback-loops.

  • GrischukTommy TommyGrischuk (@GrischukTommy) reported

AOL chat rooms never died. They just became annoying, overlong group texts.

  • hoovfuckndawg fat boy fall (@hoovfuckndawg) reported

Sorry I don’t trust anybody who still uses aol email and hotmail. Y’all never grew up.
