@KenGardner11 1. Never had a MySpace account. Had an AOL account because you could get a free AOL account for 30 days, and I needed to get on the internet for about 2 weeks. Canceling that AOL account was the most painful 4 hour phone call of my life.

@deguerre @ibogost Every other country had the equivalent of an AOL service, ie a subscription-based ISP. That the 'survey' can't comprehend this merely reflects the absurd insularity of so many Americans, most of whom don't even have a passport despite most of them being descended from immigrants
