@mathismurder @ahkahly @kiwithesmol Iirc there used to be. Yahoo kids comes to mind, AOL had kids only profiles and so did MSN internet service back in the day. Those were age restricted really with with no bypass.

@1WitchyChick When I used to be in the Connecticut AOL chat room (because yes, I'm old, and that was the thing to do in 1993), I always assumed that every woman I was speaking to weighed 300 lbs and was horrid. I was shocked when we all met, and there were some real stunners.

@NASA @NASAMars @NASAJPL I will never forget this mission. I was just getting online capability at home; good ole dial up AOL. I remember coming home from work to download the latest images. At dialup speeds, that often took hours, but it ushered in my appetite for news-on-demand. #IGotMail
