@zoolegs 1. Told someone I was from Michigan and that the weather here was nice. 2. Called someone an *******. Both times I tried to lie and tell my grandma I didn't do it and both times AOL ratted me out with the receipts.

@feckenbaskin @ibogost @heatharcadia I still have my original AOL email addy as well and occasionally send post cards. I keep a couple of blank checks in my wallet because you never know when you may need one.

@SaintNomadic 2--I never had an AOL email address--we didn't use AOL. (I used AIM). We also didn't have dial up. My dad worked for IBM, and we had cable internet from at least '94 or '95. My friends had dial up.

@grovetenderalba I got two. Was never interested in MySpace when it was active and I never had an AOL account.

@r_wolfcastle @DevinCow Yeah, I was trying to remember if AIM accounts counted as having an AOL account. I guess it comes down to whether there was an email address that would actually get to you.

@mithaldu 4 points. AOL was not a thing in sweden. i never paid for something with paper check. but i did cash in a paper check for cash once. i dont know if that counts. i never owned a dictionary or encyclopedia.
