@zoolegs 1. Told someone I was from Michigan and that the weather here was nice. 2. Called someone an *******. Both times I tried to lie and tell my grandma I didn't do it and both times AOL ratted me out with the receipts.

@opensea is already starting to suffer the same fate of the likes of AOL and MySpace. First mover advantage means nothing when you fail to innovate and don’t care about your users. @blur_io for the win 🥇

@AOLSupportHelp @AOL apparently the functionality for allowing aol mails to be picked up via other apps (like outlook) which is pretty basic, does not work and you have no solution. Really poor

@LOVLEEANNWISE @katiecouric Got my first computer, a Gateway, in 1993, when I was 50, and was on Aol by early 1994, chatrooms and all. 🎶 those were the days my friend, we thought they’d never end 🎶

If this sounds crazy to you, remember how recently it was weird to chat with random people on AOL (1995) or admit to meeting your bf/gf on the internet (2002) or have "close friends" you may never meet IRL (Twitter in 2010) or talk aloud to a piece of hardware (Alexa, 2014)...
