@NautPoso @Chewbacca20001 If either worked well I could tell you. GAB is not working at all while Parler is like AOL.

  • mrsallnut 🏳️‍🌈 MrsAllnut🏳️‍⚧️ (@mrsallnut) reported

@parscale You've never had the privilege of having AOL cut off your internet bc your credit card expired & it shows. These things all have contractual obligations. Read the fine print & quit your puling.

  • BotJesting Jesting Russian Bot (@BotJesting) reported

@AndersBjork2 @IDFSaturn No because it is not centralized. IRC is literally a part of the internet and it's how you would chat with people back in the day if you didn't use a centralized service like AOL, Compuserve or Prodigy.

  • nodusormu Jules ☃️ bIm (@nodusormu) reported

I used to get in SO much trouble cause everyone in the house could hear the dial up noise when I tried to login at night... through AOL lmao

  • ValiantWatch Valiant Watch (@ValiantWatch) reported

@Humanstein Comic book/Cartoon Network forums and chat rooms on AOL.

  • Amyg_dela don't (@Amyg_dela) reported

@Humanstein Janet... Joint Academic Network ... Then AOL online Alt dot news/ uk / newsgroupname

  • travelinjeebus Jeebus Christos (@travelinjeebus) reported

@CyberWonton @APLMom Telling ya... easy solution to that is a purge of email access... Gmail, AOL and others can get your emails from your Twitter/Parler/etc. accounts and then decide that you should not be allowed to spread "violence" via their email systems...

  • coyotegoth Fred B. Smith (@coyotegoth) reported

Right about now, 45 is bellowing, "What do you mean, they shut down AOL instant messenger?"it

  • sunstarsys SunStar Systems (@sunstarsys) reported

@HappyBuddha19 @eshaLegal We were just trying to socialize and create intellectual value for us and our peers, not do homework for the lazy sobs every other ISP threw into the mix after AOL led the way. People just said **** on Usenet at that point not for topicality, but solely for audience reach.

  • brent_bisgard Brent Bisgard (@brent_bisgard) reported

@I_Mean_I_Dunno @schmiddes1 @shoe0nhead BS. The vast majority utilized big Tech like AOL and CompuServ since the beginning of it and the "free" internet is still out there should you dare to enter and relegate yourself to that space. Most folks want a curated experience and will never join you on 12chan.
