@liturgicalgay 4 points. Never had AOL or MySpace accounts, never used dialup to access the Internet, and I never owned an encyclopedia. (I used dialup, but to access the older Usenet, not Internet. My parents owned the encyclopedia, not I.)

  • Robert_Mills Robert Mills (@Robert_Mills) reported from Dracut, Massachusetts

@megansarahj I had AOL right at the end, but luckily I got out before the damage could move at speeds beyond that of my 14.4K dial-up modem that hogged our only phone line.

  • MisterScott_ Scott George (@MisterScott_) reported from Londonderry, New Hampshire

@AOLSupportHelp I was wondering why it kept asking me to sign in randomly

Equally unusual is the way the NSA extracts what it wants, according to the document: “Collection directly from the servers of these U.S. Service Providers: Microsoft, Yahoo, Google, Facebook, PalTalk, AOL, Skype, YouTube, Apple.”

  • Mrspacely_93 Alexander L. Bennett (@Mrspacely_93) reported

If they never experienced the AOL dial up tone on the internet it ain’t even a point in arguing with em….

  • DGimbz what are we even doing? (@DGimbz) reported

@lyft should shut down their Los Angeles product. It works at AOL 98 speeds and gaslights you. Wouldn’t recommend.

  • RangerNS Mr Parody (not even slightly PARODY) (@RangerNS) reported

Yeah, AOL CDs were bad, but did you ever get on ULines mailing list?

  • IanOpte thepigsarefedandreadytofly (@IanOpte) reported

@FrankMikeDavis1 These stupid maga rubes. Everything on the laptop is backed up on the Cloud. I’d bet Blackburn still uses her aol email address. So sad.

  • Lucy03052632 Lucy (@Lucy03052632) reported

Something really weird just happened, I was checking my aol mail and there was mail from Home Depot, stating a price drop for a Weber grill I was looking at the other day, how do they know I was there looking at grills? I never talked to anyone at Home Depot about grills. ?

  • dread_rocco Rocco, former 90s Sex Symbol (@dread_rocco) reported

**** broke *** Twitter. I'm going back to MySpace and AOL chat rooms.

  • ladymlee1 Michelle 🌊 Arrest tRump!🌊 (@ladymlee1) reported

@TommasinaResist @jeffstorobinsky No. When I first got on I used Netzero and never payed for anything at all. When AOL came, THAT'S when we had to start paying for access.

  • theflacodogg Cory (@theflacodogg) reported

@bearsaremean @IwriteOK Can we also cut down the number of retweets per day? Some people get out of control. Also, AOL is going to start charging to send emails and IMs.

@KensethFan17_20 Nah Windows XP is 🐐. What time to be alive. Downloading music on limewire trying not to kill the family pc. AIM and AOL chat rooms. The **** that went on in those days was like the wild west of the internet. Truly the good ol days.
