@michaelmiraflor @Aerocles @MattJMcD Why is it a problem that they’re asking what web3 is? To me, that’s a great sign that they care. This is so new in any practical sense. The web itself didn’t matter to most without the browser & AOL. Web 2 didn’t matter for most until Facebook. Most people need real applications.

Mad as hell bc I had to delete then re-login to my aol account on my phone (shut up, I know) and the notes in my notepad app I wrote from the end of June-present were not backed up So many single lines of lyrics that were never going to become anything, gone

They essentially paid for my 1st condo. Those were the days. But then AOL made a tragically wrong turn. Interesting how that goes.

@JMGardner8 It's great for small groups, and is our audio/video platform when running VTTs. But it's awful for large communities. Like the worst of the old 90s/00s message boards. People say, "You get used to it." But it's not 'getting used to'. It's resurrecting the old & dead AOL skillset.

@PaulFor86 Yes, in interviews Behr and I think Rick Berman, as well, they said that they would participate in the then nascent AOL chatrooms and talk with fans. They noted that there was a LOT of love for Dukat there and on message boards about Trek at the time, and felt they had to fix it
