@dancow In the 90s I had an AOL account so I could test our software on their proprietary browser. Couldn’t cancel online. Had to call in (but long wait on hold). Instead, I switched to cheapest (4.95) plan until credit card finally expired.

@GHargraveWrites I never had an AOL account but that's it. I still own at least 2 dictionaries, certainly encyclopedias, I literally have post cards I'm about to send on the desk in front of me, & a bookcase of CDs next to me. The rotary phone was my grandma's & the records were mum's, but still.

@IndieBookshopUK Never had a MySpace (didn't understand it!) or AOL (I had talk21 instead), but definitely have used everything else. I still have the paper A-Z I bought in 2008 when I moved to London for 6 months. My cousin takes the proverbial out of me for it, but it hasn't failed me yet!
