@RichRautenstra1 @SeanOhhhh Live moderation is not as good as it was. I worked behind the scenes moderating online discussion (starting in the AOL days). I'm retired now, but the concept seems to be that if something offends you, block it. I'm not a fan of that. This needed to come down ASAP and cops called

@mitchellvii Have used a wide variety of software programs and media platforms over the past 40 years. And X is definitely the worst I've ever seen. An incredibly bad design poorly implemented. It's like something some high school students made for a school project. Can't even correct a typo in a post, which was something we could do easily back in the 90s. America Online (anyone remember AOL?) was more modern and sophisticated and with fewer bugs.

@oldmedia I know that this is kind of dumb, but I actually miss the AOL dial-up. It was annoying, and it kept my parents from being able to call anyone, but it was a very specific time we'll never get back. I was a young teenager experiencing online freedom for the first time.

@AuriBlooms I feel like all these ppl who have this sick POV of TCAP being bad in the early 2000s obvy never got lured by a predator. I have & this commentary is sick & upsetting for victims of online child predators. He showed America the harm of AOL and issues parents were not aware of.

@TimothyImholt I've *definitely* never had an AOL address. Why would I? I had access via university.
