for the longest time, no matter what I did, I could only connect at 4800 bps. my pleas for help were ignored until one day my dad tried to use aol and then he called the phone company the next day (turned out to be a wiring problem in our attic making noise on the line)

@AOLSupportHelp This forwards constantly to my Gmail address, no other email service provider has this issue. I don't get spam like this from Gmail or Yahoo.

@AOLSupportHelp Understood so why doesn't AOL have proper measures in place to prevent spoofing? I don't receive spoofed emails from any other email service providers.

@RealPhillyP I had internet since 1993, compuserve text only. I paid stupid hourly fees for basically just a message room. Then moved over to aol in 94 or 95.

@AOL Update your customer service support, there is currently no email address to send to customer support. I'm receiving tons of spam from your users everyday.
