@dandeckr @dxndeliions It's a very old email client, makes even AOL and Hotmail look new and snazzy. I still have my original hotmail, very useful to enter into websites that demand one, as I never read any of it!

Lord, give me the strength... my mom is moving from an AOL email address to Gmail today... I now have a second full-time job in tech support (she’s lucky she gets the family discount of 100% off my services)!

  • ckrewson Chris Krewson (@ckrewson) reported

"Verizon bought AOL for $4.4 billion in 2015, and it bought Yahoo for $4.5 billion in 2017." It is now selling the combination for about half what it paid for both. This, kids, is a bad deal.

  • TVGrimReaper TV Grim Reaper (@TVGrimReaper) reported

@Aquinas82nd AOL was great at marketing / adding profitable subscribers & solving the technical issues associated with rapid growth. It was also berry, berry good to me. Then it decided "content was king" and wasted its equity buying Time Warner. Luckily, I was long gone, in every way.
