@loveliestlor This was my first and favorite phone! As a teen I never cared to get a cell phone until this came out because I was always on aol/aim and only liked texting and not actually talking on the phone...not much has changed tbh lol

@WillBrinson The internet keeps everything except FanHouse. Some dumb **** I wrote for some dumb geocities-looking blog 20 years ago? Still findable. Stuff I'm actually proud of that I wrote for FanHouse? Gone forever. Making stuff disappear is the only thing AOL ever did well.

I love how, in the late 90s, the whole internet agreed that AOL chatrooms sucked and moved on to better things. Then comes Discord, which is the exact same as AOL chatroom, and everybody's like "Holy **** this is revolutionary! Let's migrate EVERYTHING to this new platform!"
