@loveliestlor This was my first and favorite phone! As a teen I never cared to get a cell phone until this came out because I was always on aol/aim and only liked texting and not actually talking on the phone...not much has changed tbh lol

@Stevephenni @ChrisBloomstran How would it differ from any business strategy, e.g. TimeWarner merging w/ AOL or Verizon buying Yahoo? Bad decisions. But if everyone knows what is happening, isn't it just a business decision like any other subject to some baseline reasonableness/good faith standard?

@MartyBent Things like grooming have probably been happening since AIM (aol's instant messenger service). Regulating freedom in the metaverse to protect the children doesn't seem like a good idea.

@JustinRYoung I never understood why Road Runner brand didn’t just become AOL Cable? I installed Cable Modems in 2002 in upstate NY, it confused the hell out of people who thought AOL was the internet. They’d ask me to leave LOL

@jesseintl @BreeNewsome There is 350 million people in the US. These are disposable masks. None are supplied for children. How is this not virtue signaling? If AOL could send cds to each household on a weekly basis; how can a govt with its own postal service **** this up.

@TdergTMI I used to use one of my boss' AOL accounts. I didn't know he could see my search history. He told me I look up some weird ****. Good thing he couldn't track newsgroups. Glad he didn't know about alt. fans.dean-stark.diaperplay or ILD2.

@NickADobos @eevee I’ve been on the internet since AOL days… you know who solved that problem? PayPal. And now they aren’t the only one offering solutions to creators to get $ for their work. There is dozens upon dozens of companies eager to support creators in their businesses. We have choices.
