  @prattprattpratt #thetalk #Emailoverload. Part of the problem (at least 4 me) is when ur emails load into #gmail or #aol app on #smartphone it doesn't remove or sync them w server. This definitely needs fixed by companies #google n #verizon #fios

  This has been going on for DECADES! I was a senior support tech at AOL right out of college, team lead for the Apple version, helping write scripts & handling difficult cases, including VIPs. They gave me awards. Then I trained my Indian “backups.” Laid off almost immediately.

  @Ric_RTP It’s just to keep people from protesting data centers.. like all things ie. Long distance calls, cell phone minutes, AOL it will vanish or go down to being so nominal that it won’t matter.

  @Reverend_Rivera @mibrardragon The beginning of the IWC actually start around 1995 decades before the birth of AEW. Well, it may not have been as prevalent as it is today, it started during the Monday night wars. Message boards, and AOL and all that old school ****.   @ForemanTaxLaw Do you know, on a certain level, an AOL email address demands respect. I mean, this guy could be the worst lawyer in history, or he’s so good that he just does what he wants. Kind of like the guy that wears new balance tennis shoes with slacks.

  I consider the Postal Service’s biggest failure in the early Internet era was not giving an email address to everyone. Instead, they delivered AOL CDs to people who set up an email with them. Imagine if everybody had @usps.com email address. They would have made a fortune.

  @pinglyadya @unclegubsey OpenAI is irrelevant. The first one to market in a novel industry never survives. Facebook killed Myspace Cable Internet killed AOL Google killed Yahoo Chrome killed Internet Explorer It's exponentially easier to take someone else's invention and make it better.
