FACEBOOK & TWITTER might want to check themselves. They may THINK they have a monopoly on Social Media now so they can pull this censorship crap, but I'm old enough to remember when AOL seemed like the only game in town too. Competition CAN & WILL happen. #DontBurnBridges

@peterdaou Aol and the other MSM are lying again. Here's the key: whenever they praise a legislation on uncontrolled impulse, that's when the real red flags are waiting to be found. H.R. 1 is a bad idea.

@AjitPai @AOL I remember in '91 getting help from @DominicBenford w/ Usenet in Evans Hall, when we had a 20-min conversation about creating a graphic overlay, kind of like Mac, to make it easier for idiots like me to use the internet. We agreed it was a good idea and, ofc, never acted on it

@3amjosh I never had discussion with bots to enhance AI. I only had the jokes and laughts with friends with AOL Bots. However, I can see you continue to insult me as a human being.

@Anakha56 @SwiftOnSecurity The lot who bought it have done far more damage than the almost 15 years aol had it imho. Though changing user behaviour did far more 'damage' than any corporate action.

Thinking today about that scene in Our Town where Emily is given the chance to go back to one day in her life, and for me it just might be one afternoon on AOL in the early 00s to say goodbye to people I didn't realize I'd never talk to again.
