AOL Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • leftspace13 Josh Anderson (@leftspace13) reported

@EEMthethird never was in tech but was adjacent - started saying it generically 20-25ish years ago after a buddy at AOL's NOC used it casually.

  • Gee_McK Gee_McK (@Gee_McK) reported

@OhanaFive0 Says to me the network cancelled as they didn't want to continue without AOL as the lead character, knew it, they couldn't persuade him to stay

  • Gee_McK Gee_McK (@Gee_McK) reported

@H50Reminders @PLenkov So mixed messages... The network cancelled the show AOL wanted to leave Or both???

  • ErickTweets110 Erick From T w i t t e r (Trying to sift reality) (@ErickTweets110) reported

@peterdaou Aol and the other MSM are lying again. Here's the key: whenever they praise a legislation on uncontrolled impulse, that's when the real red flags are waiting to be found. H.R. 1 is a bad idea.

  • andrewtlloyd Andrew Lloyd (@andrewtlloyd) reported

@AjitPai @AOL I remember in '91 getting help from @DominicBenford w/ Usenet in Evans Hall, when we had a 20-min conversation about creating a graphic overlay, kind of like Mac, to make it easier for idiots like me to use the internet. We agreed it was a good idea and, ofc, never acted on it

  • jasmine_prasil Jasmine Prasil (@jasmine_prasil) reported

@3amjosh I never had discussion with bots to enhance AI. I only had the jokes and laughts with friends with AOL Bots. However, I can see you continue to insult me as a human being.

  • The_DoctorO Darren Owen (DrO | WACUP) (@The_DoctorO) reported

@Anakha56 @SwiftOnSecurity The lot who bought it have done far more damage than the almost 15 years aol had it imho. Though changing user behaviour did far more 'damage' than any corporate action.

  • _MarcusWho_ Marcus Who? (@_MarcusWho_) reported

@jamie2181 I just had a terrible flashback of my short stint at AOL tech support back in 1997.

  • PrestonFassel Preston Fassel 🕎 (@PrestonFassel) reported

Thinking today about that scene in Our Town where Emily is given the chance to go back to one day in her life, and for me it just might be one afternoon on AOL in the early 00s to say goodbye to people I didn't realize I'd never talk to again.
