  • TomFlynn Tom Flynn (@TomFlynn) reported from Fresno, California

Taking it waaayyy back @Steve_McNear but it’s a great comparison. My gigabit internet from @comcast feel like same quality as 1998 AOL dial up. Drops calls. Drops video. It’s horrible and @comcastcares has known about it for weeks but keeps lying and closing the issue report.

The best version of the internet was in the mid to late 90’s. This is because stupid people hadn’t figured out how to use computers outside of AOL yet.

  • Chip192203 Steve Connolly (@Chip192203) reported

@AOLSupportHelp Guys and gals……it’s time to tear down that great big granite carving that in big bold lettering says “ALWAYS BLAME THE CUSTOMER”. How can it be an issue with my hardware when someone 50 miles away has the same issue?

  • Chip192203 Steve Connolly (@Chip192203) reported

@AOLSupportHelp Interesting as always AOL wants to blame the customer. Yet when I suggested you try the same thing I’m seeing in your own e-mail nobody seems to have bothered to check issue. Seems you folks did not want to check so I had a friend try example I gave, same result.

The new iPhone doesn’t support UC-5G so you’ll basically never have service unless you turn 5G off. T-Mobile will tell you their non-UC service is fast, and maybe it is with download speeds. But when your ping is MULTIPLE SECONDS (not milliseconds) you might as well use AOL.
