@maximlott @PCivilization @PrisonPlanet The barriers to creating a web site are far lower than creating a power company. We’ve had competing social network companies for years, from AOL to MySpace to G+. Creating another WalMart would be harder, but we don’t demand they give away products for free.

@mygiantrobot DMX - Ruff Ryders Anthem. Pre-Napster, there were private chat rooms on AOL where people would “serve” MP3s. So painfully slow on a 14.4 kbit/s dial-up connection. Simpler times!

@Texarchivist 1992 up till 2017... Started as a feature of aol before it became an ISP, then they spun out into a standalone app for a good long run, then hung on life support for like 8 years.

We are asking millions of people over 65 to login, create an account, schedule an appointment, and print/pdf their form to bring with them. Many of these people have AOL email addresses. How do you think this process is going?
