@maximlott @PCivilization @PrisonPlanet The barriers to creating a web site are far lower than creating a power company. We’ve had competing social network companies for years, from AOL to MySpace to G+. Creating another WalMart would be harder, but we don’t demand they give away products for free.

  • RFWill149 Will MacNeil (@RFWill149) reported from Pleasanton, California

@TownBizTony Dude I remember the 56K days and at times AOL would have a bad day and you saw 28.8 or 14.4 pop up it was hell

@bby_grae When we first got internet the only way was through very locked down corporate portals. AOL and Netscape are what I remember, with curated pages available to view. The ability for individuals or small businesses to have a web presence was hard.

How can @Verizon website suck so bad?? It is perhaps the clunkiest website. ever. Shouldn't that be their job?? I guess that's why they sold AOL and Yahoo.

  • theKentopolis Name cannot be blank (@theKentopolis) reported

@mize1958 @LaurenMinorWXIX They treat it like AOL instant messenger. I blame the 3 blinky "replying" dots when the person on the other end starts typing.

  • WSBConsensus WallStreetBets & Co. (@WSBConsensus) reported
