@fleshycurse @KaceyMusgraves Negative. My friend at CompUSA (back in the day) would sign me up (to help her since it was required for them to ask) for a few weeks free of AOL dial up service. I would sign up, then later cancel, then repeat.

@HeinoK1 @MattStultz @amtcastle One drilled a hole in my barn. Suspect it was for nesting, but there was an ant trail nearby. They knock on the trees to get the ants to come out, right? I covered the hole, got rid of the ants, & placed an AOL CD (shiny side out). It never returned 👍😎 Old CDs = Good deterrent

AOL chatrooms were the first time everyone could call someone an idiot and loser and every name in the book without being held accountable. My experience anyway. And did argue fruitlessly back in the day against "trolls'

A AOL chat room. Oo nostalgia. That was weird and super handsy with me so 12 yr old me poured bleach in his liquor then we went back home. She always was chasing love in all the wrong places never pouring into herself so now she's older and alone

@horrorgeek I agree sites were terrible but when you're running AOL rates it's bound to be a reflection of how bad the Internet was rather than how bad the actual questions were. Proof of that lies with the times being a boon for horror magazines. So somebody was doing their job, right?
