@fleshycurse @KaceyMusgraves Negative. My friend at CompUSA (back in the day) would sign me up (to help her since it was required for them to ask) for a few weeks free of AOL dial up service. I would sign up, then later cancel, then repeat.

@JasmineMcNealy Step 1: Active old AOL account. Step 2: Direct all mail there. Step 3: Never log into AOL again. Step 4: Bur consider logging back into AIM. I miss that.

@AOLSupportHelp I updated my app and now every time I want to check my email it requires me to log back in 😡. I even removed and reinstalled the app n no luck. Please fix for iPhone!

@CharlesHawn66 I never had MySpace, AOL, used dial-up, owned an encyclopedia (but surely used one at the library!) or paid with paper checks because those were a thing from the 1940's over here.

@PSPersephone there's some things which are just cultural touchstones in strange ways. like, i never had an AOL email because... i'm not american. i didn't pay for anything with a cheque until like 2 years ago. what is a boombox specifically.
