@fleshycurse @KaceyMusgraves Negative. My friend at CompUSA (back in the day) would sign me up (to help her since it was required for them to ask) for a few weeks free of AOL dial up service. I would sign up, then later cancel, then repeat.

I still continue to have absolutely no regrets about quitting AOL Discord servers (and never intend to rejoin any of them or participate in any more "reunion" activities). Gaming and streaming servers are for the most part SO much more fun, especially with the right mods.

@AOL thank you for holding my old email hostage and refusing to help me recover the password of an account I made as a teenager. I can’t log into my Xbox account without being able to get into that email which means I’m out the thousands of dollars I put into that account. Thanks

@AOLSupportHelp 3 days later this feature IS still not working. AOL is bent on forcing users out of outlook to their antiquated service for only those loyal not to use a gmail account. Are you proud of working there????

these kinds of tiktoks are no different than AOL forwards in the 90s that told women that someone was hiding under their cars in parking lots. it's the same fearmongering that riles up (typically white) women to lock down their neighborhoods.

@jambojeremy @ComicDaveSmith @ThomasEWoods If he met his wife when she was 15 in AOL chat like claimed not cool… but he denied this and I believe has never advocated lowering the age of consent or that doing this type of action is not violating the non aggression principle

@squawksquare $TWTR buyout will go down as the worst deal since TWX-AOL. 91% of TWTR revs come from advertising. You can’t just wave a wand and make the rev mix user fee-based. That’s like dating a guy the opposite of any you’ve ever dated and thinking you can change him into the perfect male.

@ZamasuBlack22 @BlackwoodBuck @THEVinceRusso The marks can never explain who did better than Russo at TNA. They also love to ignore the fact that after the AOL Time Warner merger and Ted Turner having very little power left, they wanted wrestling gone. Eric knew the higher ups hated WCW even in '98 when they were doing 5.0s

Imagine if Congress had regulated the internet with only Microsoft and AOL in mind. That's what bad defaults in crypto policy could do to web3. We can't hinder startup and emerging protocol growth, even if the bad headlines persist. We need a sandbox.
