@fleshycurse @KaceyMusgraves Negative. My friend at CompUSA (back in the day) would sign me up (to help her since it was required for them to ask) for a few weeks free of AOL dial up service. I would sign up, then later cancel, then repeat.

@ThisIsNoahEvans The news media is the problem. I use iMessage, WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal. (AOL Messenger 20 years ago). No one I know and text with in the US, UK, Japan, etc. cares at all. Send me a message, I open that app. 😎

I'm old enough to remember when aol was sending free dial up to every body just to try it out. Now EVERY SINGLE BODY wants (NEEDS!!) the world wide web. This is corny ****. AOC was not wrong when she said y'all don't understand how to market.

@Riptide360 @cheddar It would be a grave mistake for Zuckerburg to think they got Meta market cornered just because they have the name. Companies like Vine, Myspace or AOL get taken down and it's healthy for technology. We want de-centralization and public, open AI-algorithm
