  • DonnaHo50584821 Donna Houston (@DonnaHo50584821) reported from Grace, Washington

@joangreeneaz @AOC It must have been a terrible experience for AOL! She knew about this a week before. Did she tell Pelosi? Why not? Pelosi had 6 messages regarding the riot. Did she stop the police from acting? She was the final word. Did she stop the police, guard etc from protecting the capital

  • shortproof Jason Short (@shortproof) reported from Kenmore, Washington

My father in law (86) tried to send an email for the first time in a while (his words). His AOL email stopped working. I had to explain that it was a service and he probably stopped it a long time ago.

  • crtr0 Carter thinks #BlackLivesMatter (@crtr0) reported from Seattle, Washington

@kirillzubovsky I never had an AOL email, I assume I'm on the BCC. This email should be triggering a dozen different hueristics.

  • hoyty Hoyty (@hoyty) reported from Sammamish, Washington

@cmwdotme @supersat Never seen a BlackBerry RIM950 with AOL branding. Was that used by people who worked for AOL or something?

  • Romestantc Charles M. Romestant (@Romestantc) reported from Seattle, Washington

@VictorJServin @benedictevans For this second one apple does bring a solution with Apple TV. All in one place. Plus now the new smart tv app will help. Content it just parallels what we have with services. You had AOL, now you have fb Twitter insta etc...

  • AdamEtchey Adam Etchey (@AdamEtchey) reported from Sammamish, Washington

    I once pretended to be a female with an AOL account around the time I wrote: "I want to meet the Aliens." "You never can tell about people can you?" ;; I want to meet my family, is my final conclusion. ;;

  • film_girl Christina Warren (@film_girl) reported from Seattle, Washington

Anyway, we both used that AOL account until BellSouth started up its ISP service in the fall of 1996. The password wasn’t changed and the account was active until sometime in 1998 when the county finally did an audit and canceled it.

  • NaFun Name cannot be blank (@NaFun) reported from Seattle, Washington

@Slate Because he's targeting people that only recently dropped the mass email fwds from their aol accounts and they're used to bad graphics.

AOL Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • SteveSnake59 Ultron (non-MCU) (@SteveSnake59) reported

@DavidPoland Disney is not Netflix and Wall Street needs to realize that, or else end up like the poor sods who invested in AOL after the Time Warner merger.

  • reiver09335145 reiver (@reiver09335145) reported

@iam_preethi @AJA_Cortes Web 2.0 "the return to AOL" was a terrible experience. They rebuilt why people canceled cable and fired AOL to begin with.

  • KydJustice Albert Albanese (@KydJustice) reported

@WrestlingBios My first though when I read this. It's like the AOL-Time Warner merger never happened to him ( and a lot of other people who constantly blame WCW's booking for them going under)

  • BlueEarOtter Ace Orejazul 🔭 (they) (@BlueEarOtter) reported

I never had AOL growing up (we had earthlink) so i to this day have no idea what AOL keywords were despite living through them

  • bytaylordenise taylor (@bytaylordenise) reported

Then once I have it figured out. Take my internet away. It’s served me nothing but pain and heartache anyway. From the first day I waited for AOL to boot up, clicked on Myscene Doll Dot Com and my mama said she needed to use the phone. **** it all.

  • squizzleflip Sean Cuevo (@squizzleflip) reported

@grahammcbain Back in my day, we'd get our internet in the mail! 300 free hours of AOL! Only there weren't websites, just keywords. An hour to download a song, and sometimes it wasn't even the right song. Your PC would get slow so you had to rearrange your hard drive. We called it defragging

  • HeyyBeetch Queen Hvssy (@HeyyBeetch) reported

Can someone please tell me how I’m receiving continuous spam emails to an AOL account I NEVER created? Like it from spam, but it says in the To: “deadname@aol” ???

  • arnallop3 Nanomaniac (@arnallop3) reported

@Blizzard_Ent yall need to stop sucking ***. Played @Diablo back in the day with less server problems and I was using AOL dial up.

  • bml_khubbard Kevin Hubbard (@bml_khubbard) reported

@RanaAurora Haha - that is a strange question. I do develop on Linux, but am not a Linux developer. So no, maybe somebody like me, but not me. I didn't realize anybody ever handed out Linux CDs like AOL floppies back in the day. I always just spent all day downloading ISOs at slow speeds.

  • HarryRBurger Harry Burger 🌻 ☮️💚 (@HarryRBurger) reported

@mizshellytee It hasn't meant that since the main online chat service was AOL Instant Messenger & you had to remember all your friend's screen names. I'm guessing you're over 30 :-D
