William Parker (@wmprkr) reported@0xpwnie I think I was in 5th grade. Having internet in your house was still a rare thing and it was dial-up if it was. America Online. Everyone I knew used AOL discs as coasters for their Coca-Cola or whatever they drank. First computer was a Macintosh Performa 475. The webs speed was garbage back then, but we didn't have anything to compare it to. Social media wasn't a thing, it was forums and IRC. But man every single website was an amazing journey into a different realm. They called it the Summer that never ended, and boy lemme tell ya if you were there at that time, you'd give up all this fast web **** for a stroll down memory lane in a heartbeat.

Just Adam 👍 (@1Coys69) reportedI am 4 months into a sky puck subscription. On account I never get to finish watching a program because I get kicked off or get told the program is loading and is laggy to xxck. It's useless. Can I cancel my subscription. It's like I'm using AOL dial up to connect. @SkyHelpTeam

Kat (@kathy982141) reportedThe military, being the largest, corporation to exist, so to speak, runs closely with nexr to no errors. Trucking, the largest logistical corpopation, more errors than old aol dial-up. This Can Be Fix by the right people.

Unacceptable Nuck (@UnacceptableN) reported@Martyupnorth We paid for AOL for 3 months and ended up getting 18 months free. If you paid even once and then called to cancel so you could use a free trial, they just gave you another month free. Those free trials kept coming. How did they make money?

nick bradley-sutton (@surfacing3984) reported@honeymoon250 19 never had AOL
-
Hawara (@ein_hawara) reported@Noahpinion It is also pretty easy to imagine a world where a global, distributed network of open protocols that is mostly permissionsless did not happen in this way, and in which we only would have gotten a better AOL.
