    Trying to open a @BarclaysUK child bank account and it is impossible. The instructions to use 'Video Call' simply do not appear on my app. Branch closed down. Local service closes at 4.30. Waited 40 minutes for tele banking to pick up. What sort of customer service is this?

    @Barclays @BarclaysUK @BarclaysUKHelp You have the most ludicrous and protracted phone system for customer services where you do damned best to discourage callers or for them get your app! Well, I wish to speak to someone always as a long-standing customer - so frustrating!

    I’ve been banking with @BarclaysUK since 1972 50 years! I’m so disappointed by the recent decline in service and contactability Chat facility offline and nobody to talk to. It’s like they’ve shut up shop and gone home @BarclaysUKHelp Time I changed my bank

    Thanks a bunch @BarclaysUK for inexplicable removing my overdraft facility - completely! I might rarely use it, but the point is it’s there for emergencies and this loyal customer of 20+ years is rightly hacked off!

    4 MONTHS waiting on a reply for a complaint & repeatedly advising @BarclaysUK to communicate via EMAIL or @resolvercouk (due to not having access to post) & finally going to the @financialombuds, Barclays closed the complaint because I didn't reply to their letters! Outraged!

    @BarclaysUK 6 phone calls, 4 hours of online chat where I’m now just being ignored. Total of 9 hours trying to get some help and still no further forward. Been given incorrect information 3 times and really stuck for help. A loyal customer for 26 years. Shocking service.
