@bt_uk heya, really struggling to get support via the live chat. contacted a couple of times now about an intermittent issue with my router and they keep just running speed tests and saying everything is ok. Is there an escalation process?

@bt_uk During a cost of living crisis, they are trying to take nearly £700 from an 87 year old man that can't even remember his wife has died. Where is customer service? Where is compassion at this already difficult time?

I have been on the phone to @bt_uk for nearly 4 hours trying to sort my elderly grandparents phoneline. Service has been absolutely horrendous. Very disappointed. They are about to leave 86 year olds without a landline as everyone seems to be blaming each other. Do better @bt_uk

@bt_uk BT, your customer, my father - a care home resident - died in August and despite me trying twice on long calls to you to close his account, he has just been charged again for landline rent. I am furious at the time-wasting incompetence of your “communications” company.

@bt_uk Not a single device can connect to my router and load a simple webpage. I pay Sky for 50 GB a month because the WiFi is pitifully slow. The wired connection is better, but still poor. Why do you seem to be disregarding the wireless speed?

@bt_uk internet up and down for 3 weeks now. Booked engineer never showed up. - wasted afternoon waiting. If renewing I don't recommend them

@bt_uk Is there an outage in thr North West? Was getting 0.5mbps this evening then the internet cut out completely around 9pm and hasn't returned.

@bt_uk Hi, had ongoing problem for weeks. Engineer visited on October 31st. Things were good for a few days but problem is back! Internet has rebooted itself twice in the last 30 minutes and was repeatedly doing it last night/this morning. Please advise a permanent solution

@bt_uk I will, thank you. I am out of all patience now though as had already been personally promised it had been dealt with. BT makes it virtually impossible for a customer to leave, even when dead. It is truly distressing.
