@bt_uk a quick query - Joined BT in July, brand new phone number (never given out as never used) - Why do I keep getting strange phone calls, none of which are for me!

  • AndrewBoxThomas

4 times I have tried to get my new hub delivered and 4 times I’ve received disappointment. Nothing. This is quite shambolic customer service and utter frustration from an existing customer. Surely it can’t be this hard? Can anyone @BTGroup @bt_uk please help? #nothappy

@EE you filthy horrible company. I was happy with BT and when I tried to tell you I don't want to be with EE and canceled my contract, you put a £2000 bill on me? ... Awful. Good luck. @bt_uk .

@bt_uk I have called countless times…the issue is the appointment gets rescheduled automatically and there is no intimation. I have waited for 05 hours today just for your agent to say the appointment has been rescheduled to 03 May AM slot. I need this to be escalated immediately

  • GFX2001
    Ian Robson (@GFX2001) reported

@bt_uk I have spent hours on the BT Website and BT Community Support systems trying to find an answer to a simple Digital Voice question? Can you connect two analogue Phones to the Green Socket on the back of the BT Hub using a two into one Phone Socket adapter?

  • VicJohnson04
    Vicky Johnson (@VicJohnson04) reported

@skytv £39.95 (installation fee!) to send out a new sky box when I’m already a very loyal customer. Daylight bloody robbery @bt_uk I think you’ve e got yourself a new customer

  • Darren_Lewis1
    Darren Lewis (@Darren_Lewis1) reported

@bt_uk typical BT broadband neglecting loyal customers - renewal prices for a customer of 6 years - charging WAY MORE than the market rate and WAY MORE than if I was a new BT customer. Shame on you, I thought those days of not caring about your long standing customers was over.

  • stockport871
    Stockport871 (@stockport871) reported

@bt_uk It’s linked to a vulnerability issue, reel feee to direct message me, the reason I can’t call is on the account.

  • AlexaOByrne
    Alexandra O'Byrne (@AlexaOByrne) reported

@bt_uk @stokeygurl I’ve not been able to get into my online account for weeks due to a fault caused when BT upgraded their system a few weeks ago. No account access for weeks, BT cannot help and hence I’m now taking my landline, broadband and mobile contracts elsewhere! Loyal customer since 1993!

  • Krisp06
    Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported

@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.
