Kyle🤙🏻 (@KyleMitchell97) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@bt_uk was horrendous. The resolutions to my complaint offered by manager on the phone were frankly insulting. The only reason I had the complaint closed was due to being so frustrated with my experience that I couldn’t continue- manager also refused to allow me to speak to (c.)

@bt_uk No idea what the speed is but I do know when it gets so slow you can’t load anything and revert to 4g on my mobile. The hub lights do sometimes cut out but more often it tells me I’m connected and then the loooong wait!

Andrew Donnelly (@donners32) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
10 years a customer of @virginmedia and they just tell you that if you want to reduce your bill to a reasonable amount you can’t and their first offer is to disconnect you... which takes 30 days. Looking forward to something new with @SkyUK or @bt_uk now. #Shambles
-
Ozzysraders 🇬🇧⚽️ (@DavidOsborne4) reported from Milton of Campsie, Scotland
@bt_uk over 6 hrs of phone calls to you. 4 phantom installations, 2 text messages confirming installation date for the 2nd July, not to mention a letter stating same..waited in all day. Nothing, not even a phone call. Never mind that I am obliged to pay you for two months....

Fred Parry (@fredparry3) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@bt_uk what’s going on BT. My internet has been crap for months and it’s getting worse! The diagnosis tells me it’s fine but the reality is totally different! I’m using mobile data, which I pay for. I also pay for an internet connection!

Kyle🤙🏻 (@KyleMitchell97) reported from Glasgow, Scotland
@bt_uk Long story. My account was incorrectly cancelled, BT acknowledged the error and set up a new one, no o/s balance. Yesterday £2019.07 is taken for cancellation. Phone to resolve & complain and the customer service on offer, in particular from the first gentleman I spoke to (c.)

Martin Watson AV LTD (@MartinWatsonAV) reported from East Kilbride, Scotland
Don’t think @btsport and @YouTube will be holding there heads high tonight. The live stream of the champions league final was awful. Not a lover of the @BBCiPlayer, but at least they can successfully broadcast a live event in UHD without any major issues.
BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

Kirsten (@Simply_Kirsten) reported
@bt_uk Apparently the issue is getting fixed on Tuesday 14th December. It’s been going on since October apparently. I knew absolutely nothing about it. Surely if there’s a massive outage customers should be told?
-
Just a (50 year old) Nottingham Lad🏴 (@ENG2Stars1Day) reported
@btsport The standard of the coverage is really poor compared with Sky I am afraid. Looks and feels cheap and very second rate.
-
Paul Keighley (@PaulKeefers) reported
@btsport paid all that money for the Ashes but then seem adamant that they want people to watch it with the sound off. Awful, all aussie commentary makes it literally unwatchable. Bring back Sky! @btsportcricket #Ashes
-
Promediate (@Promediate1) reported
@bt_uk I would just like to cancel the fibre which doesn’t work and switch the old hub back on. The old hub worked. Apparently that would take 2 weeks.
-
Promediate (@Promediate1) reported
@bt_uk Ok. It was the people at the BT service centre. The irony is that I am paying more to replace a working system with one that simply doesn’t work
-
Mintu singh (@Mintusi87664387) reported
@bt_uk - extremely frustrating experience with my new house move. No internet for more than 10 days now. Is this what you do to your loyal customers? @BTGroup - Can someone please help me?
-
Jon Ford (@JonFordWarks) reported
@btsport I refer you to a tweet I sent before the series started. Please ditch the Aussie commentary, it's truly awful. Make arrangements to cover it from the UK. I've stopped watching.
-
Lee Davies (with an e) (@LeeMarkDavies) reported
Watching England in the #ASHES is going to be bad enough, but watching on #BTSport’s abysmal coverage is going to be like cricketing purgatory. I’ve paid to watch Aussie TV’s coverage of #AUSvENG because BT cannot be bothered to do it properly.
-
Ian (@iancharris) reported
@Stuart_Linnell @btsport I watched the first session in the first two days but at lunch last night I was thoroughly depressed and fully expect us to already be fighting to save the test by stumps tonight. I can see us getting back to close to parity with 5 or 6 wickets down.

Cinister (@Cinister09) reported
When you get through to @bt_uk and get the BEST customer advisor ever. Honestly, this lady is amazing. She's opened a complaint and is actively trying to fix my line. Super polite it's really refreshing to chat to someone who wants to help. Diamond worker you've got there.
