I’m currently charged £20 per month (latest bill) for @btsport as a BT Broadband customer. Used to be half that price. Cannot get away from the feeling that I am being swizzed. Go look on the Web and BT Sports’ pricing could be described as damned opaque at best #fleeced4profit

  • donners32
Andrew Donnelly (@donners32) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

10 years a customer of @virginmedia and they just tell you that if you want to reduce your bill to a reasonable amount you can’t and their first offer is to disconnect you... which takes 30 days. Looking forward to something new with @SkyUK or @bt_uk now. #Shambles

  • lor51
Lorraine McD (@lor51) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

@bt_uk is there a reason the #BTMail iOS app keeps requesting login details and doesn’t allow for face recognition to be used?

  • GiggsyBlantyre
Alan M. Lappin (@GiggsyBlantyre) reported from Hamilton, Scotland

@Dani1987C @d_mac2912 @ibroxrocks @btsport @darrellcurrietv It’s because Christopher Sutton is a former player of Celtic, Danielle. But I don’t think this fella will admit that he’s bound by hatred of all things Celtic, and that’s what motivates him to cancel his BT sub. You’re right though, they won’t give a ****!

  • JimGellatly
Jim Gellatly (@JimGellatly) reported from Cambuslang, Scotland

@alibi_channel @BTCare I don’t know what that is… and the BT site is down for maintenance so can’t even find out.

  • Johnm150
JohnMac (@Johnm150) reported from Dennistoun, Scotland

@btsport yours has to be one of the worst Sport streaming apps out there! I log in to watch a replay and it’s never there or it comes up with an error. Also very poorly designed interface. Nothing intuitive or logical about it. Easier to use the BT TV app and that’s poor too!

  • SeanGra15094727
Sean (@SeanGra15094727) reported from Glasgow, Scotland

  • AgentZara

@bt_uk trying to speak to someone regarding a broadband issue is nigh on impossible. I'm not interested in stupid text messages that incur a charge on my mobile. How do I speak to someone? Pathetic service this.

@bt_uk can you provide best contact to make a complaint please. I am not a customer, however I am concerned about a recent upselling tactic with my elderly vulnerable aunt when she phoned regarding a line issue.

  • FayeLcarter
    Faye Carter (@FayeLcarter) reported

@bt_uk I've since been booted off the chat, had a text to say a complaint has been raised but no details of what or how, then had another text to say if I don't reply then the complaint will be closed. How do you reply? Every link sends you back to where you started with the messaging

  • GFX2001

The BT 2 factor Authentication Login is rubbish!! Each Time you receive the Passcode Via Email it fails to login. It only works if you get it sent to your phone!! Asked for Help from Support but they only say Download the BT App, which is unusable and provides zero help @bt_uk

@bt_uk what are you guys doing to the internet in yelland so slow and constantly not getting up to the speeds we pay for

  • Krisp06
    Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported

@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

  • duncsand

I called @bt_uk to cancel a service we're not using. The "guide" put me on hold for ages, then the line went dead, followed by an automated SMS asking what I thought of the service. Not very good is the answer!
