Kafayat Toks MamaBear🐻 Timson🇳🇬🇸🇱🇬🇧 (@OrignalBabydoll) reported from Croydon, England@bt_uk You are very condescending right now. My household can’t do our jobs because of your crap service. And it’s fibre optic broadband. Drs & supermarket staff are working through the pandemic too. We can’t today & tomorrow because of a full outage. Don’t be ignorant with your replies
-
Milly Kenny-Ryder (@millykr) reported from Merton, England@bt_uk my elderly grandmother is struggling to contact you. No one replies to emails, picks up the phone or responds to her. LPESSN (@LPESSN) reported from Camberwell, England@ashley_jp_83 @TKASMrShepherd @RaynerSport At the end of the day it all boils down to TV money. Both Sky and BTSport wanted the games back as they weren’t going to pay the full amount. Women’s game would have been easier to restart.

Kafayat Toks MamaBear🐻 Timson🇳🇬🇸🇱🇬🇧 (@OrignalBabydoll) reported from Croydon, England@bt_uk Updates? All I know is I went to the GPs after they left and the main road I live off had at least 8 Openreach vans doing repairs. The road my cul-de-sac is off isn’t that long. I was told by one operative there were numerous issues in my area

Elliott Rawstron (@Elliottrawstron) reported from Wandsworth, England@bt_uk I understand. I am explaining that the speed in areas which was good is now not good since using “complete wi-if”. So it has negatively impacted everything. I have spoken to multiple people and logged a complaint. I would like someone to call me to sort or discuss compensation

-
Alexandra O'Byrne (@AlexaOByrne) reported@simboman @stokeygurl @bt_uk Could not agree more! During my many calls with BT I’ve been told this is affecting tens of thousands of customer accounts. Waiting for my paper bill for which BT “kindly waived the £3 fee”. Luckily, I’m “out of contract” and hence able to move to another provider.

David Sinfield (@omotforest) reportedDear @bt_uk You do not have my consent to install anything on my property. If it is free, it cannot be for my benefit. It's for yours. If it's cheaper for you, you can give me a share of your savings. I had no choice over the digital voice downgrade. @openreach will have to trespass to install it. If it is a condition of receiving service, say so and I will seek alternatives. (@Starlink or 5g) Is it on the T&C's? A letter is on its way to your registered address. David Sinfield.

Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

JoycieB (@blairjoyce3) reported@bt_uk 8 weeks ago you mis-sold my elderly parents a 900mb broadband package which we have been trying to cancel since, despite your "5 working days" claim. I won't go into additional details here, as it continues to get worse, but I am absolutely disgusted with your company
-
Graeme Davis (@GraemeDavis) reported@bt_uk Your comment sounds fine @bt_uk but your team in this line appear not to be authorised to cancel an appointment and not rebook it. How do I contact someone whohas the authorisation to do this?
