@emerald1910 @bt_uk @Ofcom I feel the same on & off I have been a loyal BT customer since the 90's when I lived with my parents and have paid them a lot of money for their services. Hey, ho, you live and learn don't know if I have it in me to challenge their derisory and laughable offer of £0.39 per day.

  • albsar1970 Al Sarpong (@albsar1970) reported from Kensington, England

Newcastle’s forward players are good honest workers but you cannot help thinking that if they had a top class striker on the end of their good moves, it might have been a different outcome at Etihad last weekend. Man City would have been relieved to get those 3 points. #btsport

  • susan_pym Susan Pym (@susan_pym) reported from Brentford, England

To @bt_uk - I received a ‘Final Warning’ today. How many times do you need to be told that YOU haven’t sent the bag? “Hello, BT here. A final reminder to return your kit to avoid a charge. It's owned by BT and was loaned as part of your service to us.” @BTCare

  • JAndresDJ97 J Andres 🎧 (@JAndresDJ97) reported from Brentford, England

@btsport refund me please, why am i paying £30 a month for it to keep freezing and saying ‘sorry, theres a problem’

  • kylepont KP 🇺🇸 (@kylepont) reported from Ilford, England

Hi @BT_uk I’d just like you to know your customer care staff are as useful as a chocolate teapot. Set up broadband over the phone, gave direct debit setup information, they didn’t set up the direct debit and I got cut off a month later. Called you, fixed it, got told direct debit

  • RadarRadar Alan R Adair (@RadarRadar) reported from Hounslow, England

@btsport I am tired of signing in every time I switch on my TV. Every time. Just once I’d like to sit down, point my remote and watch the sport instead of QR codes, passwords, IDs and six digit numbers in associated devices.

  • BrixtonBobbyBob Christiana 🕷Activist Lawyer (@BrixtonBobbyBob) reported from Lambeth, England

@bt_uk @holland_tom I’ve been given the same text … I spoke to a BT customer person who said it would be back on at 16:00. It’s not back on..

  • EpsomMental Allen_lovemymind (@EpsomMental) reported from Croydon, England

I dont think me my landlord or letting agent are at fault & have to say totally peed off that @bt_uk think it's acceptable to leave a customer with out broadband for 253 days. Perhaps I am just stupid thinking that's unacceptable and very poor customer service #btcustomerservice

  • whitedan2001 Dan White (@whitedan2001) reported from London, England

Hi @bt_uk we’ve had no fibre broadband in our area (Forest Hill, SE23) since Saturday. It was supposed to be fixed by 1pm yesterday. Spoke to call centre and they promised it would be done by 5pm. Still not working this morning - what’s going on?

  • alanburkittgray Alan Burkitt-Gray (@alanburkittgray) reported from London, England

  • BrixtonBobbyBob Christiana 🕷Activist Lawyer (@BrixtonBobbyBob) reported from Lambeth, England

@nattynats1 @bt_uk Yes that’s what I’ve had… If they know the fault will be fixed by 2 Feb, why can’t they fix it now?

  • IngridMarsh_ Ingrid Marsh (@IngridMarsh_) reported from Lambeth, England

@bt_uk I've been on the phone with your consultant for nearly an hour trying to submit a complaint. I've stressed on no less than ten occasions that I wish to do so. He has tried to sell me other packages and have put me on hold FOUR times. Still no luck! Please urgently advise.

  • skyebnic Skye Nicolson (@skyebnic) reported from Addington, England

Kicked off right before the fight starts?? You gotta be kidding me @btsport 🥲 worst 20 quid I’ve ever spent 🙈

  • BrixtonBobbyBob Christiana 🕷Activist Lawyer (@BrixtonBobbyBob) reported from Lambeth, England

@bt_uk I understand it’s in the whole area so that’s not much use is it? A fault of a few hours is one thing… this will be 10 days of outage in central London.

  • EpsomMental Allen_lovemymind (@EpsomMental) reported from Epsom and Ewell District, England

@bt_uk Thank you Elaine. I am so peeved that I have waited 253 days and it took the OpenReach engineer no more than 1 and a half hours. I have got myself so stressed & mentally unwell over this situation!! And feel BT executive complaints team have not listened/heard my complaint

  • BrixtonBobbyBob Christiana 🕷Activist Lawyer (@BrixtonBobbyBob) reported from Lambeth, England

@bt_uk any news on when the Brixton BT outage is going to be dealt with?

  • BrixtonBobbyBob Christiana 🕷Activist Lawyer (@BrixtonBobbyBob) reported from Lambeth, England

@bt_uk So what am I supposed to do in the meantime? I’ve got a whole weekend of work planned, I pay for the top service & this is rubbish .. my office is closed… nothing is working, not the telephone or broadband … nothing

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • JohnMcArts John McMahon (@JohnMcArts) reported

@bt_uk Thanks Lesley, I'll DM you. The service checker says 'no known problems', but this can't be right as I know people have been complaining since it happened.

  • PeteLiggins Pete Liggins (@PeteLiggins) reported

@OpenreachHelp I know it was Openreach engineers who installed the fibre on our road (I chatted to them at the time) & there’s no other network providers infrastructure. @bt_uk have confirmed they are paying Money Expert to knock on doors, so sounds like they are making false claims at the door

  • NeilinChicago Cathy Willems (@NeilinChicago) reported

@bt_uk can u pls escalate turn on WiFi after payment of bill. You disconnect service while a household is trying to work. What’s going on?

  • whyamisoleng trix (@whyamisoleng) reported

@bt_uk why is your wifi so bad

  • Heinz_Beanz Heinrich Güldenpfennig (@Heinz_Beanz) reported

@bt_uk Wth is going on with FTTP in the Colchester area, no internet since Friday evening, what is taking so long to fix this issue?

  • macg33zr Bill Dennis (@macg33zr) reported

@bt_uk This is the thing. Blue means connected but it is just connected to the back end and not authenticating for Internet because still on my old provider. The instructions and troubleshooting with the router do not help at all. Will wait for activation text from BT and try again!

  • MessyMerkz Messy (@MessyMerkz) reported

@bt_uk @nelsfn1 That is terrible speeds. Especially with Ethernet and fibre.

  • macg33zr Bill Dennis (@macg33zr) reported

@bt_uk Hi I tried WiFi and Ethernet and neither work. I have just plugged the old router back and it is connecting fine to me previous provider. I don't think BT/OpenReach have activated my service. This is all very confusing BTW with messages saying to set the router up right away.

  • franbeenikel Fran (@franbeenikel) reported

@bt_uk Broadband installation to my business. An extra £500 was required for installation. I signed the documents and agreed to pay. Open Reach kept not turning up because they said they hadn't been paid. Two weeks of phone calls to BT about the issue and now it's been cancelled.

  • Gingel50 King Keano (@Gingel50) reported

@bt_uk internet on off on off every 3 minutes all day! I thought TalkTalk was bad!
