Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Southwark and nearby locations:

  • jlarsson89 Johan Larsson (@jlarsson89) reported from Eltham, England

@bt_uk Yes I'm aware of how networks work and the difference between wifi and an ethernet cable, what I'm saying is that your latency issues weren't a thing a month ago with identical everything except name on the contract. Stop dodging responsibility and fix your issues.

  • bhutch41 Brian Hutchinson (@bhutch41) reported from Lambeth, England

@bt_uk Twice today I’ve called 0800 800 150 & spoken to 2 helpful operators about my BT minihub signal dropping out; I’ve moved house & won’t get proper BT Wi-fi until 23/1/20. Halfway through both calls I’ve been cut off! Help!!!!@bt_uk still dropped out! Help!!!

  • jlarsson89 Johan Larsson (@jlarsson89) reported from Eltham, England

@bt_uk Actually you can, you just won't because of company policy. Any ISP that actually gives a shit about being an ISP would've sorted everything out in at most 3 business days. Yours sincerely, "Jonah"

  • jlarsson89 Johan Larsson (@jlarsson89) reported from Eltham, England

@bt_uk Trying to with your incredibly bad website offering as far as I can see no information on this exact issue and no phone number to deal with it. I am currently restricted to 4g on my phone because of this. Unable to just pay and keep using my connection by the looks of it

  • Bernie82_ Steve Bernard (@Bernie82_) reported from Wandsworth, England

Do we really have to see this @btsport ad every 60 seconds. Bad enough to watch it once #BBL09

  • prof_j_mitchell John Mitchell (@prof_j_mitchell) reported from Bromley, England

20 minutes in a queue for @bt_uk but as the clock strikes 9 they cut you off. Quality customer service........

  • dangregorybfc Dan Gregory (@dangregorybfc) reported from Bromley, England

@bromleyfc @HarrogateTown @btsport Same old @btsportfootball never showing consideration towards the away fans. all televised league games have been away. absolute shambles once again. **** BT sports

  • Morris2906 Morris Hickey # FREE AT LAST # (@Morris2906) reported from Chigwell, England

Therein lies the clue. If he was from BT then he'd know whether you have internet. If you get such a call give no information and just hang up. @bt_uk @metpoliceuk

  • MikeHead8 Mikey Mike Timebomb (@MikeHead8) reported from Swanley, England

@MashStPaddy @btsport @BarrowAFC @bromleyfc Tv never cares about fans it's just it was never affecting us before .

  • ejp72 Liz (@ejp72) reported from Walthamstow, England

@btbusinesscare having intermittent issues with our broadband. Trying to do the online check and it’s taking forever. We had this yesterday as well.

  • jlarsson89 Johan Larsson (@jlarsson89) reported from Eltham, England

@bt_uk As I have said it was not in my name, the person has left the country and I don't have any of the details. We have a box that is technically functional but as of now disconnected. It is technically a 5 second job for you to fix but because of nonsense policy I'm now disconnected

  • prof_j_mitchell John Mitchell (@prof_j_mitchell) reported from Bromley, England

I remember when @bt_uk had the customer service mantra of Right first time. Seem a long time ago from recent experience.

  • prof_j_mitchell John Mitchell (@prof_j_mitchell) reported from Bromley, England

@bt_uk Changed TV deal now getting emails about returning the equipment. Customer service no idea why. ‘Wait until the new deal kicks in and they’ll probably stop’

  • rajeevdatta Rajeev Datta (@rajeevdatta) reported from Brentford, England

Can’t make the game this evening so just rang @btsport to upgrade. £28.00 per month plus £35.00 connection fee. **** that - Twitter it is then tonight!

  • miltipello Joshua Milton (@miltipello) reported from Camden Town, England

Very slow on the uptake, or @btsport have failed miserably on publicising it, but the fact they've attained some @NHL live game rights is potentially huge. They've done a great job with MotoGP and increasing baseball coverage, so hopefully they step it up with hockey too.

  • prof_j_mitchell John Mitchell (@prof_j_mitchell) reported from Camden Town, England

@bt_uk I’d like to cancel BT sport but the web or app won’t allow it saying you much call.

  • MPRidsdale Matt Ridsdale (@MPRidsdale) reported from Islington, England

@bt_uk fair play. Not a seamless switch (5 days without broadband) but friendly customer service when you had a wobble, text from engineer to say it’s sorted and a dollop of credit volunteered at the end. Not bad. Thank you to the nice people who look after your customers.

  • jlarsson89 Johan Larsson (@jlarsson89) reported from Eltham, England

@bt_uk Wireless, exactly the same way it was before I was forced to get a new identical account with the same users doing the same things without issues. My ms goes from the 20s to in the thousands in semi-regular intervals regardless of time of day or other usage.

  • jlarsson89 Johan Larsson (@jlarsson89) reported from Eltham, England

@bt_uk still having latency issues which I assume you will claim are routine, speeds are fine and as expected but the important thing for a connection is reliability, I'm still getting lag spikes and dropped connections from both online games and voip. Yes, my settings are fine.

  • TDMaurice Tom Maurice (@TDMaurice) reported from Wandsworth, England

Agree with everything said on #FACupTonight about @WestHam on @btsport The club is a mess from the top down. No plan. No hope #boardout

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • PrimumSequitur Primum non sequitur 🔴 (@PrimumSequitur) reported

@bt_uk A close family member passed away, family members retried to contact us but for nearly three weeks we’ve had no landline service and now we missed the funeral. Still no internet service! When is this issue going to be fixed?!

  • SketchLisa Lisa Harding (@SketchLisa) reported

Day 6 and no @bt_uk broadband and still no resolution or answer.

  • KristenHousman KNH (@KristenHousman) reported

@bt_uk growing annoyed. Move house package actioned 22/11/21 to start 3/11/21. Router still ‘in transit’. Engineer visit cancelled but no one arrived. Key worker & home worker & now no engineer available till 16th. Too late to cancel order please? No response to online message.

  • matthewrfox Matthew Fennell-Fox (@matthewrfox) reported

@bt_uk I assume you're aware people are still working from home and might just possibly need internet? Obviously not as you think it's ok to take down telegraph poles with zero warning, not even a knock on the door let alone an email/letter/text, ridiculous.

  • ianice92 𝓢𝓸𝓷𝓰𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓻 (@ianice92) reported

@Mhla_Khumalo @bt_uk this is the same issue I have @bt_uk

  • demurely38 demurely1 (@demurely38) reported

@bt_uk Is there a problem with BTemail server? I haven't been able to access it properly for 24hrs now

  • WYSIW Just an ordinary bloke (@WYSIW) reported

@SketchLisa @bt_uk Hmmm, I’m sorry your having these problems, I been with BT since the begging of time and they’ve been great, not that helps you much

  • AndrewGreen0 Andrew Green (@AndrewGreen0) reported

@bt_uk It's being dealt with as a complaint, but taking 2 long. We have elderly & infirm people who live here who have no contact with the outside world without a phone line. Apparently, Openreach need to complete a survey next week then arrange a repair for next year! Not good enough

  • he1entweets Helen M (@he1entweets) reported

@btsport No thanks. Do not support cancel culture of a totally innocent man.

  • SiobhanMerritt4 Siobhan Merritt (@SiobhanMerritt4) reported

@bt_uk any update on the nationwide outage for hybrid connect?
