  @bt_uk Hi Rita, we’ve already done that, on the 7th. They detected a fault, and said the estimate fix date is the 12th. That’s an unacceptable timeline, and too long to go without any WiFi.

  @emerald1910 @bt_uk @Ofcom I feel the same on & off I have been a loyal BT customer since the 90's when I lived with my parents and have paid them a lot of money for their services.   Hay @EE and @bt_uk, next time you have a broadband outage can you text me that there's a problem in the area to my mobile phone about the issue? I thought there was a problem with my hub, so performed a reset and unknowingly lost all my contacts. I assumed that the numbers where stored in the handset. My fault for not reading the instructions - but because I didn't know about the broadband outage, I thought the fault was the equipment. Have now added my contacts back to the phone, which are stored in the hub.

  @bt_uk I can’t resolve ‘online’ a phone fault. It’s for my blind 87 year old father who hasn’t got a mobile phone, internet or indeed at the moment a functioning land line. His phone is not the issue. How do I moved forward and actually speak to someone?

  Update on the @bt_uk fiasco. After 48 years as a customer I’m told I have to pay up to March despite never having signed anything nor being told I had a new contract. The new residents take over the line in 8 days so BT will be paid twice. There’s a name for that. Fraud.
