@bt_uk @amysverse_ Dear BT. I've had the same issues this week and @virginmedia asked me to contact YOU about this as BT Sport are the programme providers / rights holders. What are we supposed to do here? We completely stuck in the middle and paying for the privilege.

  • Jess_L_Andrews Jessica Andrews (@Jess_L_Andrews) reported from Merton, England

@bt_uk will most likely have to go into the office during this time which is not ideal as we are all still meant to be staying home as much as possible, surely there is a way open reach can sent someone sooner as an emergency

  • adam_cannon Adam Cannon (@adam_cannon) reported from Barnet, England

had an IP bleed between us and our neighbours for 3 weeks. Still waiting for BT to diagnose the problem (although we have!!) social media team amazing but @bt_uk very slow. Anyone else had similar issues? Means slow or no internet, random webpages blocked. Drop outs on zoom.

  • rahelab Rahel Bailie (@rahelab) reported from Camberwell, England

@Tonysmini @bt_uk A database should be updated in minutes, not weeks. 4 weeks is ridiculously slow. Guess I just need to be patient. 😡

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • BritGamerUK BGUK (@BritGamerUK) reported

@bt_uk @bt_uk hi, any idea what’s going on with broadband issues in Coventry? Constant solid Orange light on the Router all day?

  • thelittlestloz Laura-Jane (@thelittlestloz) reported

@bt_uk we’re in a holiday cottage, so as we’re not the account holders there’s very little we can do to fix issue, but would be useful to know if island or cottage issue! Thanks

  • Joanna_Wilson Joanna Wilson (@Joanna_Wilson) reported

@bt_uk You tick the box for responding to the customer but there’s nothing much else you can do. BT’s changes make things less convenient & possibly dangerous for the less tech savvy customer & those who have bad reception. I think Mitchell’s column made that point pretty well already

  • yolkey Paul Cohen (@yolkey) reported

@btbusinesscare but only if you agree on tape to pay £245+vat (if they decide it’s our faulty equipment which ironically was supplied by bt) for an engineer to come and look at an identified fault. If you don’t agree there is no way an engineer will look at the problem.

  • SURFERDUDEBURT CHRIS BURTON (@SURFERDUDEBURT) reported

@bt_uk put another complaint in today happy for you to call me to discuss the poor service if you can be bothered ? Should have gone with @SkyUK might have a working phone line by now ?

  • M_in_the_city__ M 💙💛💙💛💙💛 (@M_in_the_city__) reported

@bt_uk everytime my mum calls she is made promises that are not kept, engineers do not show up and staff seem to be unable to help despite her repeated calls and her age. This is not an acceptable way to treat a customer of over 4 decades to leave her like this

  • GrahamKavanagh7 Graham Kavanagh (@GrahamKavanagh7) reported

@Grandmamavis I will hold BT to that, next time they mess me around. Failing service, blaming my apple computer equipment and closing my complaints. My case now lies with the Exeter office, Whom rang me two days ago. They started to take notice. @bt_uk

  • ReissParkinson Reiss Parkinson (@ReissParkinson) reported

@bt_uk what a poor show, appalling service, rude incompetent staff a complete failure at every level. #herenottohelp

  • JanParker10 janparker (@JanParker10) reported

@England @bt_uk Never watched it, so can’t comment

  • RuthRoperWylde Ruth Roper Wylde (@RuthRoperWylde) reported

@bt_uk Thanks Jordan, I did, yes, and was able to get an answer on the problem x
