MISS OLUBUNMI (@adekoya_k) reported from London, England@bt_uk It is absolutely ridiculous, how difficult it is to contact BT, if one has a problem or a simple inquiry. And to think, BT are supposed to be Trial Blazers in this field. Anyway, I need to speak 🗣 to someone about a refund for an Installation that was not carried out.

-
Ororo Munroe (@justcryhavoc) reported from London, England@btsport Could you kindly inform me of how to cancel your service which we have via sky? I telephoned this morning and was rudely told that I would have to call Sky. Your website indicates otherwise.
-
Joe (@joemjeffrey) reported from London, England.@bt_uk Your customer service is the worst. My elderly parents received a visit from @WeAreOpenreach yesterday to fix their landline, were assured it was fixed and it's not. Furthermore your directors do not even respond to emails. My father needs access to a line now, not Weds.
-
Emily Ray (@emilyraylondon) reported from London, England@bt_uk Hi! It has been sorted for us now thanks. We managed to get through to someone by phone. We are having internet issues with you on a near weekly basis so I'm sure it wont be long before we have to get back in touch with you unfortunately! @LuckyWaster

MISS OLUBUNMI (@adekoya_k) reported from London, England@bt_uk I have no Wi-Fi, so, I literally cannot watch anything on TV or on my tablet. My so called Halo Hub, just keeps flashing orange. When I called BT, I was told that BT closes at 20:00 🕗 on Saturday’s. Are you not supposed to be open 24 hours to solve problems like these?
-
Kate Morris (@kateMorris102) reported from London, England@bt_uk Dear BT the service is certainly not a download speed of 8.94. This is an ongoing problem. Pls can you let me know what your tests showed?
-
Caz ☺🏴 (@caz_08) reported from London, EnglandWell done @skytv @SkyFootball 👏👏 pausing sport on our bills. Oh well @btsport showing no support for customers 🙄 hope a lot of people don’t renew contracts with you!

-
KX (@kiekyobadeo) reported from London, EnglandFor a company that prides themselves as Europe’s largest telecoms service provider, @bt_uk have the most lousy customer service team in history! If I go into detail on what I’ve been through!! All because of one master socket install. Which mind you still hasn’t been resolved.
-
Caz ☺🏴 (@caz_08) reported from London, England@btsport @BTfootball1 so been trying to get through to cancel sport or even pause just like @skytv have done. So time to cancel DD I bet they contact me once I’ve canceled 🤔 one way of getting through!!

Nick Atkin (@NicoSCMP) reported from London, EnglandHave tried to resist the urge to go Full Karen on @bt_uk. Phoned them 2 weeks ago to tell them my parents’ home phone line has been cut in half and broadband is down. Have booked 4 appointments with their engineers, each time they haven’t turned up or said anything. shite 🗑

Nikki Anderson (@NikkiOsbor4715) reported@bt_uk When are you going to sort out the problems you have. I CANNOT log into my account have not been able to for two days now. What the heck is going on. Awful company, need to get rid of you. Shame really I have internet, phone and 4 mobile phones all going. Had enough😡
-
Di Beirne (@ScattyCat) reported@bt_uk Hello - what on earth has happened to the MyBT app? It was bad before, it's even worse now!! Can't find anything useful, the most useful page is very dark, as if there's a screen over it. Really not an upgrade... tell I.T. to design something useful. Do they even check it?
-
Sebastian Colt (@Red_Rescue) reported@bt_uk Speaking to support on the phone anecdotally this seems to be a significant problem. I think the scale of it can be tracked by how many calls last less that a few seconds (due to dead air) or how many pin numbers are requested but not used. (as they are not supplied in time)
-
Dean Hazell (@Deano01973) reported@bt_uk Tried this and they say they now need 3 more days to resolve phone line being down. Really poor service and unacceptable.
-
Gizmo (@Gizmo83508413) reported@bt_uk Does it on multiple browsers and devices. Look like the website has a problem, rather than me. As it’s your website maybe you should be contacting the technical team? Just a thought, like

Glo 🏴 🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧 (@Glo_Thienel) reported@bt_uk Hi. I have changed my password, still can't get in, saying can't load. Rang the number you gave me. What number do you press as no options for problems logging into account. Help

Duncan Anderson 🍃🔋⚡️🤖 (@duncsand) reported@neural_theory @bt_uk No way to cancel on the website and I really had to hunt to find the phone number - they're trying their hardest to make it difficult.

Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.

Dan Reardon (@DanReardon76) reportedDear @bt_uk we moved to an address you don't supply to in Jan. You said cancellation would be automatic but are still chasing me for payment. Your CS team are simply unable to comprehend and my complaint was closed without investigation. Come on eh?
