@norfolkbirdtour @bt_uk Surely Labour is far more expensive than a bit of cable .... so put cheap crap in and when it fails come back and do it again .... senseless

  • andy_gaffey Andy Gaffey (@andy_gaffey) reported from Lambeth, England

@bt_uk Hey BT I was in the middle of work tonight at around 1230am and lost my broadband connection. Went through troubleshooting. Restarted my router and now have solid orange light. Status page says you are working on the network. Was this planned maintenance? I live in SW16

  • jimbo888 jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England

@bt_uk I already block them but unfortunately they’re never ending. Surely these numbers can be traced and the relevant authorities can get them shut down as they’re trying to defraud people, Also they’re claiming to be the person’s internet service provider

  • sgfmann George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England

@bt_uk Because we were loyal customers for a decade and you responsed to that loyalty but ramping up our charges outrageously. Because of some difficult family times, we didn’t check as closely as we should but I will never give BT a penny more.

  • sgfmann George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England

@bt_uk I was turned down when I wanted to negotiate, I was charged £85 for broadband and BT sport for three years. I was told “you agreed the price tough”. As I said due to family issues my eye wasn’t on the detail. Closed my BT account over a year ago, never will return.

  • chrissiemoux Christiana Petrou (@chrissiemoux) reported from Romford, England

@bt_uk Need help! 3rd time asking! The cab outside my house is making a load rustling noise! I can hear it watching TV and in bed. I am worried it isn’t SAFE. PLEASE HELP!

  • BillGlover Bill / 葛威 (@BillGlover) reported from Camden Town, England

@bt_uk So… “We’ve tested your service and found a problem within our network. We will arrange an Openreach engineer to investigate.” @OpenreachHelp @bt_uk If you know there is a problem, why does your status page report there are no issues? Why do I need to proactively request a fix?

  • longfella31 Mark Perry (@longfella31) reported from Romford, England

@btsport how does having the 4th & 5th round draw on the same night help fixture congestion?

  • theatregirl5264 theatregirl (@theatregirl5264) reported from Barnet, England

@bt_uk reported a fault. Got a date and an engineer name. They didn’t attend, pretended they had. Complained, made another appointment. No name this time but still pretended they had arrived. So new “fast “ broadband slower than old. Service? What service.

  • ShadaBhaiShahed S.A (@ShadaBhaiShahed) reported from Stratford, England

  • JamesMorris77 James Morris (@JamesMorris77) reported from Hammersmith, England

@BTSportBoxing @btsport please please please turn off the ridiculous ten second loop of crowd murmur on the boxing. It’s ruining the coverage. It’s not working. Turn it off #DuboisJoyce

  • teenaantoniou Teena Antoniou (@teenaantoniou) reported from Walthamstow, England

.@BTCare are you available to help on broadband issues? You don’t answer calls and there are no online booking slots. Halo is supposed to have 24hr help?!?!

@ladyjazmana That’s what I’m doing with BT. Was so tired of the slow speeds/no Internet and paying £55 for the privilege plus a land line (??) and BTSport (!!)

  • garageowns Gary Jones (@garageowns) reported from Hackney, England

@bt_uk I’ve been trying to, but your online Black Friday offer goes into ‘technical problem’ every time I try to buy, then pushes me to other offers but won’t complete those either. In fact I’ve had the ‘last chance’ BF email today, but won’t let me progress. Total waste of time

  • sparkloaf26 the spark (@sparkloaf26) reported from Barnet, England

@Sara_Conway3 @bt_uk @BarnetCouncil Thank u lets hope its taken down most people just use them to gonto the toilet also dad said its dangerous u can't see buses coming down to turn corner

  • original_addick Graham Allen (@original_addick) reported from South Darenth, England

Hey this is bad practice @bt_uk @BBCNews disgusted to get a call today from BT trying to sell me BT Halo and using challenges of internet demand during Covid as a sales technique.

  • jimbo888 jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England

@bt_uk please can you do something about the sheer amount of spam callers we’re getting. 3-4 a day to my mother who has dementia. Already called 150 and they can’t/won’t help

  • Team_M_T Lynn MT (@Team_M_T) reported from Tottenham, England

@bt_uk You might be answering calls but sadly not delivering. Grandparents house move in difficult circumstances, booked in October, have been let down every day for the last 2 weeks. Potentially no internet over Christmas in a rural area with poor cellular network cut off from family

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • hendofifa1 Andy Henderson (@hendofifa1) reported

@bt_uk the WORST broadband service out there. Avoid at all costs. We’re paying £100+ a month for the broadband to drop out every 4-6 minutes, and having 2 engineers no showing on us. Awful service.

  • nickbruff Nick (@nickbruff) reported

@bt_uk How arrogant do you have to be to just rebook yet another appointment and assume the complaint is done!

  • Si_Vargeson Simon Vargeson (@Si_Vargeson) reported

@nickbruff @bt_uk Very similar experience here too. Shockingly poor service from BT

  • Liam18961519 Liam (@Liam18961519) reported

@Shann_day @bt_uk They called me childish and threatened to hang the phone up on me for asking for proof to agreeing to the contract I never agreed to. They scam you!

  • nickbruff Nick (@nickbruff) reported

@bt_uk I still want the complaint about the appointment open! You’ve wasted two days of mine! That complaint isn’t bloody closed either!

  • DanielEmmison Daniel Emmison (@DanielEmmison) reported

@bt_uk I’ve had no response to my complaint that was opened on the 24th October any reason you’re ignoring it?

  • Si_Vargeson Simon Vargeson (@Si_Vargeson) reported

@bt_uk what is wrong with your customer service org? Shockingly poor service in the last week trying to get a fault fixed. No shows. Fault confirmed as fixed (apparently by me - it wasn’t), continue to get cut off when waiting on the phone to try and talk to someone….

  • NicolaR1210 Nicola Russell (@NicolaR1210) reported

@bt_uk @mdshamilton Mark I would strongly encourage you not to upgrade with BT to Fibre go elsewhere! I was meant to upgraded on Tuesday and have had no broadband since then, multiple calls since and still no further forward! Everyone i speak to gives me a different solution but still no broadband!

  • Liam18961519 Liam (@Liam18961519) reported

@bt_uk @Shann_day When we tried to call the person called me childish and threaten to hang up the phone because I asked for proof to agreeing to the contract I know I didn't agree to

  • mdshamilton Mark Hamilton (@mdshamilton) reported

@bt_uk I won’t hold my breath. Why does it take 3 weeks and 4 attempts to even get close to getting an appointment for full fibre? Is BT retaining customers? How do your shareholders feel about this continuing poor level of service? BT used to own Openreach.
