Daniel Hirschmann (@danielhirschman) reported from Hackney, EnglandWow, @bt_uk your customer service and internal systems are utterly disappointing. First you send me the wrong kit multiple times over 5 weeks(!) and then send me a message telling me if I don’t return the most recent one, I’ll be charged £50 - eventhough its STILL the wrong kit!
-
Daniel Fellows (@danfellows) reported from Camberwell, EnglandHey @Ofcom can you please look into the legalities of @btsport still charging anxious customers for a premium service that hasn't existed for 3 weeks due to #COVIDー19 (non-ones fault) @Skysports already voluntarily pausing subscriptions #BT #customersuccess

LPESSN (@LPESSN) reported from Camberwell, England@ashley_jp_83 @TKASMrShepherd @RaynerSport At the end of the day it all boils down to TV money. Both Sky and BTSport wanted the games back as they weren’t going to pay the full amount. Women’s game would have been easier to restart.

MattHopkins1620 (@MattHopkins1620) reported@bt_uk are committed to excellent customer service, they say so when you ring them. Then they say they're very busy and they promise to speak to you within 20 minutes or you could ring back. Hint, excellent customer service starts with answering the bloody phone.
-
jack250213 (@e4290936) reported@bt_uk calling itself 'customer centric ' grates with me after an internal transfer of my broadband went horribly wrong, then four hard searches on my creditworthiness and three attempts to get BT broadband and a TV package also successfully completed by phone after a time on the phone that I regret all fell through with no explanation or apology. Customer centric? You are having a laugh BT!

Trevor Chenery (@Krisp06) reported@countrymousie @btbusinesscare I wouldn't have thought so. You can keep your landline but you would need to move it -eventually - to a 'digital supplier' when the line service finally ends. However, I checked with Dr Google & his Elves & they made the following points which sound like very good news. "Starlink does not directly provide a traditional copper landline service, but it can fully replace one as part of the UK PSTN switch-off by supporting Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) services. You can keep your existing phone number and handset by using a VoIP adapter connected to the Starlink router, suitable for replacing old copper lines. How it Works: Starlink provides high-speed internet, allowing you to use third-party VoIP providers (e.g., Plexatalk, Premitel) to make calls via your internet connection. Requirements: You will need a VoIP Analogue Telephone Adapter (ATA) to plug your existing telephone handset into the Starlink Wi-Fi router. Suitability: VoIP over Starlink is ideal for rural areas where copper is being removed, offering sufficient speed and reliability.Alternatives: If you do not wish to use VoIP, you may look at mobile phone-based solutions, which are also often used when replacing old copper lines. As the UK moves towards a digital-only network by 2027, switching to a VoIP service via a broadband connection like Starlink is a common solution." You need to find & check it al lout with a good IT man to help you through the key steps & stages. You may also need to invest in new telephone hand sets around your house to replace your old BT ones. You won't need wires to connect them, it all works digitally through the air.
