  • martin466004
Martin (@martin466004) reported from Bromley, England

@DaveKirwin @bt_uk This one needed a drop of light oil just to help loosen the dial up, but otherwise is in cracking condition

  • robholley
Rob Holley (@robholley) reported from Camberwell, England

@ladyjazmana That’s what I’m doing with BT. Was so tired of the slow speeds/no Internet and paying £55 for the privilege plus a land line (??) and BTSport (!!)

  • radioheadjen
Jenny Collins (@radioheadjen) reported from Tottenham, England

@la_riviere @bt_uk Totally. It’s why I will never feel sorry for the royal family - they’ve never had to deal with a telecoms call centre.

  • jimbo888
jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England

@bt_uk I already block them but unfortunately they’re never ending. Surely these numbers can be traced and the relevant authorities can get them shut down as they’re trying to defraud people, Also they’re claiming to be the person’s internet service provider

  • garageowns
Gary Jones (@garageowns) reported from Hackney, England

@bt_uk I’ve been trying to, but your online Black Friday offer goes into ‘technical problem’ every time I try to buy, then pushes me to other offers but won’t complete those either. In fact I’ve had the ‘last chance’ BF email today, but won’t let me progress. Total waste of time

  • chrissiemoux
Christiana Petrou (@chrissiemoux) reported from Romford, England

@bt_uk Need help! 3rd time asking! The cab outside my house is making a load rustling noise! I can hear it watching TV and in bed. I am worried it isn’t SAFE. PLEASE HELP!

  • ShadaBhaiShahed
S.A (@ShadaBhaiShahed) reported from Stratford, England

@bt_uk hi I really need help urgently, an open reach engineer came on Monday to install my complete Wi-fi package it was working fine. But My smart hub 2 has been flashing purple light since 7pm yesterday I have not internet and I’m working from home.

  • Team_M_T
Lynn MT (@Team_M_T) reported from Tottenham, England

@bt_uk You might be answering calls but sadly not delivering. Grandparents house move in difficult circumstances, booked in October, have been let down every day for the last 2 weeks. Potentially no internet over Christmas in a rural area with poor cellular network cut off from family

  • teenaantoniou
Teena Antoniou (@teenaantoniou) reported from Walthamstow, England

.@BTCare are you available to help on broadband issues? You don’t answer calls and there are no online booking slots. Halo is supposed to have 24hr help?!?!

  • amypearson2406
Amy Pearson (@amypearson2406) reported from Gravesend, England

@bt_uk Hi we have had an issue with our broadband for the last hour and your phone line is closed. It won’t connect we have followed the steps online but nothing. Please advise..

  • Maddygoesmad
Maddy Goes Mad (@Maddygoesmad) reported from Poplar, England

@bt_uk is there a problem with WiFi? I can’t connect. Tried trouble shooting but nothing other than a solid orange light.

  • seankerrigan
Sean Kerrigan (@seankerrigan) reported from Ilford, England

@norfolkbirdtour @bt_uk Surely Labour is far more expensive than a bit of cable .... so put cheap crap in and when it fails come back and do it again .... senseless

  • original_addick
Graham Allen (@original_addick) reported from South Darenth, England

Hey this is bad practice @bt_uk @BBCNews disgusted to get a call today from BT trying to sell me BT Halo and using challenges of internet demand during Covid as a sales technique.

  • sgfmann
George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England

@bt_uk I was turned down when I wanted to negotiate, I was charged £85 for broadband and BT sport for three years. I was told “you agreed the price tough”. As I said due to family issues my eye wasn’t on the detail. Closed my BT account over a year ago, never will return.

  • 7Ten
Toby (@7Ten) reported from Ilford, England

@bt_uk I've never seen a promotional tweet backfire so badly. Every single reply is negative, slating BT

  • EventOCallaghan
Mark O'Callaghan (@EventOCallaghan) reported from Camberwell, England

@bt_uk live chat customer service Where and how

  • jimbo888
jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England

@bt_uk please can you do something about the sheer amount of spam callers we’re getting. 3-4 a day to my mother who has dementia. Already called 150 and they can’t/won’t help

  • longfella31
Mark Perry (@longfella31) reported from Romford, England

@btsport how does having the 4th & 5th round draw on the same night help fixture congestion?

  • Mr_MartinCalder
Mr Martin Calder (@Mr_MartinCalder) reported from Walthamstow, England

    @MarcAllera @ABAonline @bt_uk Could do with much better coverage/signal at E178SN

  • sgfmann
George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England

@bt_uk Because we were loyal customers for a decade and you responsed to that loyalty but ramping up our charges outrageously. Because of some difficult family times, we didn’t check as closely as we should but I will never give BT a penny more.

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • baeonice
    LOZLO (@baeonice) reported

@bt_uk Hello. Internet still extremely slow but they are saying there is a fault on the line outside & that an engineer will check it this week. Thing is they came out in February too & said the copper line is very very long & impossible for him to find exactly where it could be.

  • MikeMcKenna_
    Mike McKenna (@MikeMcKenna_) reported

Hi @bt_uk. Your website is a shambles. Logged in at your home page to pay for a monthly sport sub, only to be bounced to registration (I am clearly registered or I wouldn't be able to log in) and then the "pay now" button in the step 4 screen is broken.

  • Jonesec1976
    Emma Jones (@Jonesec1976) reported

@bt_uk Shame that BT prioritises vacuous messages rather than addressing appalling customer service and addressing the fact that we have had no working landline since mid Feb and are still paying for it. Promises at every step of the way and total failure to deliver every time.

  • pigeonpants71
    Janine Ferguson (@pigeonpants71) reported

@bt_uk @btgroup @OpenreachHelp once again badly let down with a new installation, no comms from BT & now I have no broadband. I even have to call again tomorrow to arrange for a temp copper connection which will take a minimum of 5 days. Meantime I cannot work! Unacceptable BT

  • Jonesec1976
    Emma Jones (@Jonesec1976) reported

@bt_uk If only this were true but sending direct messages doesn't seem to address any of the problems that we encounter nor do any BT customer service agents seem to care about resolving our issues.

  • onlymy_opinion1
    Rachel stevenson (@onlymy_opinion1) reported

@bt_uk I genuinely have never experienced worse customer service. 2 cancelled orders and have been left with no landlines or broadband in a rural area. @bt_uk you are compromising our safety, as we have no emergency dial out and have to take leave from work, as I can't work.

  • jonnycook08
    jonny cook (@jonnycook08) reported

@bt_uk Hi I will get the account details for you when I I back home but the issue is still happening and getting worse.

  • snowleopardess
    Anne Greensmith 💙 (@snowleopardess) reported

@bt_uk Hello. I am getting an increasing number of emails in the last few days which are getting through the spam filter, which is normally very efficient. Last time this happened there was an issue your end?
