George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England@bt_uk I was turned down when I wanted to negotiate, I was charged £85 for broadband and BT sport for three years. I was told “you agreed the price tough”. As I said due to family issues my eye wasn’t on the detail. Closed my BT account over a year ago, never will return.
-
Jess Brittain-George (@jbrittaingeorge) reported from Hackney, EnglandUnsurprisingly, 16 minutes into being on hold to @bt_uk I’ve gone from “Can I change my plan so it’s not a rip off?” to “please refund me so I can **** off to another provider” @comparethemkt says I could be paying HALF of what I pay now. #bt #broadband #comparethemarket
-
Lynn MT (@Team_M_T) reported from Tottenham, England@bt_uk You might be answering calls but sadly not delivering. Grandparents house move in difficult circumstances, booked in October, have been let down every day for the last 2 weeks. Potentially no internet over Christmas in a rural area with poor cellular network cut off from family
-

-
Richard (@sirblackers) reported from Walthamstow, England@bt_uk we have been on hold for an hour waiting to speak to someone. The service we were promised when transferring from one property to another is so bad (now just 5 megabits) that we cannot stay with BT. We need to arrange cancellation of services. Please instruct how to do so.
-
Peter Hughes (@PeterLingua) reported from Tottenham, England@bt_uk keep being phoned by people who claim they work at BT and are calling me because I have problems with my internet which I don’t and haven’t reported to you. -
Jess Brittain-George (@jbrittaingeorge) reported from Hackney, EnglandHi @bt_uk I’m a teensy bit baffled why you sent my new router and hub to a different address than my billing address, but Royal Mail have returned to sender so could you fix it? -
Gary Jones (@garageowns) reported from Hackney, England@bt_uk I’ve been trying to, but your online Black Friday offer goes into ‘technical problem’ every time I try to buy, then pushes me to other offers but won’t complete those either. In fact I’ve had the ‘last chance’ BF email today, but won’t let me progress. Total waste of time
-

Tod ◣ ◢ (@tod1877) reported@measlewolf @bt_uk Steve @bt_uk are a terrible company, they did the same with my mom & dad, hours of calls & still couldn't rectify what they'd done, they disconnected their phone & then promised they would reconnect it with the same number they'd had for 50 years....1 year ago & they still haven't
-
Justine Clement (@JustClembo) reported@bt_uk what an absolute disgrace of a service you’ve ‘given’ my 84yr old parents moving house from Wales to Selsey. It has been the single most stressful part of moving home & still not resolved. Between you & @EE you’ve stressed them to the hilt & they’ll be 4wks no internet
-
me (@shenry1972) reportedI'd like to thank @bt_uk for leaving my vulnerable elderly mother without a working phone line for almost a week and giving such atrocious customer service.
-
shullup it worked out (@ClarkeDdmthe1st) reported@bt_uk now being told there’s a area fault that will take a week to fix?! A WEEK. Forget using this service and forget using @EE as providers. No urgency at all. Pathetic
-
Dunc (@derbydunk) reported@bt_uk Hello. We got an email to say digital voice starts 20/7/26. It said we'd receive a code which we've never had and said an engineer would visit for switchover. Today we've received a new smart hub and phone. Is an engineer coming? Do we need a code? We're confused 🙃
-
Rural Record (@AnonEtc) reported@bt_uk We did, Ian in Stockport told us exit fees fluctuate constantly...despite giving him the exit date! It's this overt complication, plus language (see the previous pic, "see how switching will IMPACT you"), against the ethos of Ofcom, which is why BT will lose customers and fail.
-
duncan (@mongrelcelt) reported@TupperwareNFT @bt_uk Problem is both sides claim innocence. But onus is on BT to prove they made the request (community fibre can't prove an absence of something). It'll take an ombudsman to demand evidence from BT, so they've forced my hand. So pathetic for a massive corp to hide behind call centre
-
Alan Swanson (@Haggisguy) reported@bt_uk The first 3 I cannot do because I cannot log into my account online, you don't take international checks, I don't live in the UK so pay machine doesn't work. And your customer service team want to authenticate the account with me, using a uk mobile.
-
Jon Barnes (@jonbarnes10) reported@bt_uk you app, your website and your twitter account is useless. Dont bother having a twitter account if your answer to “my app is not allowing me to make purchases” is to download the app is the epitome of your customer service
-
Mini67!x (@jellywellys99) reported@bt_uk @bt_uk can someone help me turn off two factor authentication please
