Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Romford and nearby locations:

  • sgfmann George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England

@bt_uk Because we were loyal customers for a decade and you responsed to that loyalty but ramping up our charges outrageously. Because of some difficult family times, we didn’t check as closely as we should but I will never give BT a penny more.

  • Maddygoesmad Maddy Goes Mad (@Maddygoesmad) reported from Poplar, England

@bt_uk is there a problem with WiFi? I can’t connect. Tried trouble shooting but nothing other than a solid orange light.

  • longfella31 Mark Perry (@longfella31) reported from Romford, England

@btsport how does having the 4th & 5th round draw on the same night help fixture congestion?

  • seankerrigan Sean Kerrigan (@seankerrigan) reported from Ilford, England

@norfolkbirdtour @bt_uk Surely Labour is far more expensive than a bit of cable .... so put cheap crap in and when it fails come back and do it again .... senseless

  • radioheadjen Jenny Collins (@radioheadjen) reported from Tottenham, England

@la_riviere @bt_uk Totally. It’s why I will never feel sorry for the royal family - they’ve never had to deal with a telecoms call centre.

  • chrissiemoux Christiana Petrou (@chrissiemoux) reported from Romford, England

@bt_uk Need help! 3rd time asking! The cab outside my house is making a load rustling noise! I can hear it watching TV and in bed. I am worried it isn’t SAFE. PLEASE HELP!

  • Team_M_T Lynn MT (@Team_M_T) reported from Tottenham, England

@bt_uk You might be answering calls but sadly not delivering. Grandparents house move in difficult circumstances, booked in October, have been let down every day for the last 2 weeks. Potentially no internet over Christmas in a rural area with poor cellular network cut off from family

  • martin466004 Martin (@martin466004) reported from Bromley, England

@DaveKirwin @bt_uk This one needed a drop of light oil just to help loosen the dial up, but otherwise is in cracking condition

  • ShadaBhaiShahed S.A (@ShadaBhaiShahed) reported from Stratford, England

  • teenaantoniou Teena Antoniou (@teenaantoniou) reported from Walthamstow, England

.@BTCare are you available to help on broadband issues? You don’t answer calls and there are no online booking slots. Halo is supposed to have 24hr help?!?!

  • robholley Rob Holley (@robholley) reported from Camberwell, England

@ladyjazmana That’s what I’m doing with BT. Was so tired of the slow speeds/no Internet and paying £55 for the privilege plus a land line (??) and BTSport (!!)

  • jimbo888 jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England

@bt_uk please can you do something about the sheer amount of spam callers we’re getting. 3-4 a day to my mother who has dementia. Already called 150 and they can’t/won’t help

  • garageowns Gary Jones (@garageowns) reported from Hackney, England

@bt_uk I’ve been trying to, but your online Black Friday offer goes into ‘technical problem’ every time I try to buy, then pushes me to other offers but won’t complete those either. In fact I’ve had the ‘last chance’ BF email today, but won’t let me progress. Total waste of time

  • jimbo888 jim lee (@jimbo888) reported from East Ham, England

@bt_uk I already block them but unfortunately they’re never ending. Surely these numbers can be traced and the relevant authorities can get them shut down as they’re trying to defraud people, Also they’re claiming to be the person’s internet service provider

  • curli Alison Bannister (@curli) reported from Broxbourne District, England

@bt_uk Yes logged into my BT account. It seems to happens whichever upgrade option I pick. Had same problem a few weeks ago when I tried to upgrade

  • original_addick Graham Allen (@original_addick) reported from South Darenth, England

Hey this is bad practice @bt_uk @BBCNews disgusted to get a call today from BT trying to sell me BT Halo and using challenges of internet demand during Covid as a sales technique.

  • sgfmann George Mann (@sgfmann) reported from Ilford, England

@bt_uk I was turned down when I wanted to negotiate, I was charged £85 for broadband and BT sport for three years. I was told “you agreed the price tough”. As I said due to family issues my eye wasn’t on the detail. Closed my BT account over a year ago, never will return.

  • Mr_MartinCalder Mr Martin Calder (@Mr_MartinCalder) reported from Walthamstow, England

    @MarcAllera @ABAonline @bt_uk Could do with much better coverage/signal at E178SN

BT (British Telecom) Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • danzell33 Danny V (@danzell33) reported from Shouldham, England

@bt_uk your customer service is awful, sent you a complaint over a week ago due to no broadband and it's still not even been reviewed!!! Was told my partner would get a call within 48hrs, absolute joke.

  • carljcj carl capps-jenner (@carljcj) reported

@bt_uk should have had bt broadband installed this afternoon but got a text telling me it’s now not until 15/3 not great customer service when I’ve taken the afternoon off!!! Any ideas or help??

  • Cilvrnum JanetM (@Cilvrnum) reported

@bt_uk You can't help any more. I have to put up with it. Wondered why website assumed I was a new customer. Same thing applies with other sites that want some verification incl @BBCNews that asks if I have a TV Licence when I signed in yesterday and told them I did.

  • ZaraSheldrake Tequila Mockingbird (@ZaraSheldrake) reported

@tomcsmith @bt_uk Wow, sorry you had a crappy experience. Glad you got sorted with BT. Customer service really has lost its meaning for too many profit hungry companies.

  • su_jo @su_jo 💙 (@su_jo) reported

@bt_uk Hi lovely team...humans still there? I'm stuck in an interminable "return your kit" cycle. I have no kit but do have texts, emails, plastic bags in the post. Feel like Harry Potter receiving my place at Hogwarts. How do I nudge along a space in your "customer journey"?

  • absolutehype Paul Cooper (@absolutehype) reported

@bt_uk I don't want a new order, I didn't want my broadband service to be cancelled. Your team are trying to force me into a new 24-month contract rather than re-instating the service you mistakenly cancelled which is disgraceful

  • pseveruscarter Paige 📚🎮 (@pseveruscarter) reported from Sudbury, England

@bt_uk As it was before. We have been having problems for months with our connection, and are really put out that nothing seems to have been fixed today after finally having an engineer out to help. He said that there might be a problem with our router and he has--

  • Seraphina_Quinn Seraphina Quinn (@Seraphina_Quinn) reported

@bt_uk My broadband was down again today!! I’ve never had this many issues with any other network. Thought I’d be paying more for better wifi, but shocked at just how poor BT is. Especially since the previous supplier I used was less than half the price (& I never once had an issue)!!

  • LtdUnitec Unitec Communications Ltd. (@LtdUnitec) reported

@btbusinesscare Been trying to get a refund on a Bband overpayment for nearly 3 weeks. Spoke to an advisor yesterday who said he would ring back this afternoon and he rang at 09:30 and then again at 17:56 for one ring. Can someone help as the refund would come in handy right now

  • danzell33 Danny V (@danzell33) reported

@MC40649014 @bt_uk We moved on the 8th feb, advised BT on the 29th jan, they couldn't do anything until 18th feb, phone line fitted but still waiting for broadband which is crap as I'm working from home, previous occupier had bt phone and broadband so no reason for a hold up All I say is good luck.
