@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE You’ve obviously never tried to work on the TGV from Paris to Nancy or the Deutsche-Bahn equivalent from Paris to Frankfurt?

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Very easy solution - make the companies offer roaming to their customers when their service is poor- no infrastructure required, just a flick of a switch! Gives UK customers the same service as uk visitors much in the same way when we go overseas #roaming4all

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE I thought you believed in the free market. It's not the government's job to support mobile phone operators.

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Never mind, once the new uber Embassy at Royal Mint Court is up & running there will be many more Cells popping up & coming on stream to help with harvesting all the data whizzing around our Capital. Perhaps you'll be able to tether onto some of these, just be aware of spoofs!

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE One of the worst areas I have experienced but it well known is Elvetham area of Fleet, Hampshire.

  • RAGunner72
    DirtySecret (@RAGunner72) reported

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE Tom, Dulwich’s signal isn’t bad because O2 or EE don’t care, it’s because Southwark and local residents block or shrink almost every modern mast application. Operators want to fix it, but planning laws stop them. Until councils allow proper 20–25m masts, Dulwich will always have Kabul‑level reception.

@TomTugendhat @O2 @EE O2 was so bad in Southampton that I moved to EE, which is a fair bit better. O2's 5G was even worse than its 4G.
