ษฎสสึษจษ (@brypie04) reported from Tarves, Scotland@EE I recently upgraded my contract to a 5G SIM only deal. I'm unsure whether I should be receiving an actual new SIM card in the post (5G enabled?) or my account has just been upgraded on the network side so I use the same SIM but get the 5G coverage?

Ed Peters (@mr_ed_peters) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE The old PSTN network is being phased out (copper wires, low voltage old school telephones) as I recall. The phones you're thinking of won't be around much longer. Unless someone tells me otherwise.
-
Luke Maguire (@_LukeMaguire) reported@JacobiteJen Which network? Iโm like this with @EE ๐
-
Peter (@tenerifepete) reported@maisiethetortie @LeilaniDowding @EE That's the trouble, I have to have a phone line where I live because the mobile signal is shite
-

Davie G ๐ฌ๐ง (@fredbeare) reportedDoes anyone have any tips as to how to get a response from @EE_coapp or @EE Have tried DMs, their useless help message function and a call. Nothing Think theyโve all left this Earth. So much for their performance guarantees
-
Hunter (@hunterredfieldd) reported@EE @LeilaniDowding This is why everybody should buy a mesh network device. These companies couldnโt care less about you losing your service, they only care about getting their monthly payment.
-
Helen (@HParf) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE BT have switched my land-line off (against my wishes, I might add). They said I should "keep my mobile charged". But leaving a mobile on permanent charge will knacker the battery. Of course, they're still charging the same, even though they're now providing an inferior service.
-
Chris Rosser (@chris_rosser) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE All Internet in UK is moving away from copper to the premises - and all the replacements require power to function - if you get a UPS you can plug your router and other devices (such as a phone interface) into it to keep them running during a power outage.
-
Ian Dickerson (@WanderingIan) reported@LeilaniDowding @EE Most people have a cordless phone in their home. If the power went out it becomes useless. Only corded phones work in a power outage
-
wrrnnfs (@Warrennnf) reportedI would rather slice myself in half than use bt/ee internet. Shits a scam and im getting 1mbps speeds lmaoo **** you @EE
