@EE I recently upgraded my contract to a 5G SIM only deal. I'm unsure whether I should be receiving an actual new SIM card in the post (5G enabled?) or my account has just been upgraded on the network side so I use the same SIM but get the 5G coverage?

@CarlTSpeak @EE It can be a gamble with 4G/5G. If you've got good 5G coverage it will absolutely smash FTTC, but if the signals bad it hurts. That is exceptionally bad though, do wonder if there's an issue with the towers, given the poor performance or just really bad coverage.

@EE It just goes back to the select network page (I think) - will take a pic shortly.

@EE can you explain to me why I have to reset my modem every two days currently to reestablish my home Wi-fi?! The quality of the service provided is woeful and you need to fix the coverage provided in the EN4 postcode as the phone coverage is just as poor.

@CarlTSpeak @EE Ooof, certainly not usable! You're going to have to get an external antenna high up on your house to get that signal boosted just so you actually sustain a solid connection to the nearest cell tower, but at that point even for a backup, is it worth it? EE will do it for £100.

@EE @HSpencer2000 Interesting this was also helpful to me. I am an EE customer; so If i add the PS5 to the plan, than call in after a few days and cancel the agreement - am I than able to pay the upfront cost? As this would be preferable ?
