@EE If you call the number they answer as EE and ask how they can help today! Seemed Legit to me and I’m pretty clued up on Scam Calls, but I genuinely don’t think this is! How did they know that was one of my only PAYG numbers? Knew my name, If you call the number you’ll can tell 👍🏻

@peterg @EE I mean, I don't know. Is twitter the right way to get to high levels of customer service? I don't think so. Did it get flight refunds pronto, where calling and emailing had failed. I'm constantly surprised by social media for useful info and support.

Finally got data. Turns out @EE can't make their service work on my 'phone, which is nice. Had to buy a new 'phone.

@EE when I called to discuss my upgrade I was told by your tech team of this issue and told to use my WiFi to make and receive calls (which I pay for separately to another company) and not to upgrade just yet but use a sim only rolling contract.
