@SydneyCityTV ITV has all of its services exclusively in HD on Satellite (I think, please feel free to correct me on this), Virgin Media, again I'm not sure, also surprised to see that only the main channel (ITV1) is HD on Freeview. I have EE TV, the signal works over Wi-Fi,

  • EastLight Ollie (@EastLight) reported

@GBNEWS - "Going subscription would result in those without internet losing access." ❌ INCORRECT - Freeview supports securely encrypted Pay TV. Every Freeview TV has a card slot (CI) on the rear for a viewing card. It was previously used in UK by "TopUp TV", without any problems. (3of4)

Not there so no idea how we are playing as refuse to listen on the radio/freeview. Got to be making three subs at half time for me can’t accept 2-0 down Rankine, Agius and Holicek on for Thomas Lankester Oreilly.

@karpathy This is one of the reasons why I wanted to keep freeview through antenna in my home. It offers all the new tele so I have to be a lot less intentional in wanting to watch something. This is how this stupid box was supposed to be. Now it's about chasing series and reruns.

@Janela_X Thinks it's moved the Ariel for Freeview so no signal

The SBN Network, which broadcasts on Freeview channel 94, is scheduled to close on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. This closure is part of a series of changes to Freeview channels, which may require viewers to retune their televisions to update their channel lists. The announcement follows other recent channel adjustments, including the removal of several channels and the introduction of new services. Viewers are advised to check their devices and retune as necessary to continue accessing available channels.

@gozzand @Jenny_1884 Because it costs money to keep the freeview service live. It, Channels 4 and 5 etc. already pay their share to keep Freeview running. If the BBC stops contributing they will have to pay more.

@CI5BDC The Professionals was a must-watch in my teens; imagine my delight when I found it was being shown on Freeview. Imagine my disappointment when I saw it was unwatchable crap.

  • GeneHunt81 GeneHunt81 (@GeneHunt81) reported

Because the board treat us like consumers we should think of the club the same way. As consumers we are paying the price of the full sky package but we're getting the freeview channels. Rodgers is merely the repair man here to fix signal issues. We'll still get freeview once gone

  • DavidLongbenton David Alexander (@DavidLongbenton) reported

@irisfurnham @Jenny_1884 There'd still be freeview....==loads of other channels. People only using "Freeview" have to pay the BBC to watch "free" channels even if they never watch BBC, the system is corrupt.
