Only reason I mentioned that song (Tarzan Boy) is because I've been watching a lot on NOW 80s on Freeview channel 83. I didn't realise that apart from some good songs, how much crap there was as well in the 80s 😂

  • PhilMcBoobs Philip McHale (@PhilMcBoobs) reported from Barnet, England

@jonnyt78 Not at all. Was supposed to be awful except from some certain sections of the media. Some of the games were of freeview over here as well, I didn’t have a clue

@soundofbeauty22 Semis are only shown on Freeview channels in the UK and barely promoted, so only really watched by the fandom. We've never liked that up to now but I'm glad of it this time.

  • ShaneRosser20 Shane Rosser (@ShaneRosser20) reported

I never watch the mainstream media news channels on virgin media or Freeview TV besides there are other channels that people can watch and I'm watching now 90s music channel on virgin media TV right now.

  • Loundshay Jane Tatam (@Loundshay) reported

@Andy_hhh @Serendipity_03_ @VNotmeat Actually RT was not shut down by the UK. It has been affected by a ban imposed by the European Union. Although the UK is no longer in the EU, the bloc applied sanctions to satellite companies in Luxembourg and France, which provided the RT feed to Sky, Freesat and Freeview.

@manners_stacey If you have a premium TV service from SKY or Virgin you could save there. We're switching to Freeview. With the all the players & catchup don't really feel we need a lot of the functionality of a premium TV Service anymore..

  • BananaEzzy12 The Ice Cream Man (@BananaEzzy12) reported

The thing is with being British and having freeview tv there’s not many ppl I can relate to in cartoons and ****

  • pandorasrockbox Miryam Pan D'ora Rae ~ PandorasRockBox (@pandorasrockbox) reported

@PrisonPlanet I spoke to ofcom: THEY have not shutdown RT: it is freeview & YouTube who have done this. I agree it is terrible to not let us hear all sides in this "democracy" we live in! Reminds me of stopping all opinions about Covid. Agree or not, we should have the right to hear all sides
