Nooooo just lost our TV signal in the middle of @TheRepairShop Christmas programme. Freeview signal out across much of Cambs but until this minute we'd been ok. Thank heavens for iPlayer so we can see the rest later.

  • Lord_Drainlid Mick Brown (@Lord_Drainlid) reported from Cambridgeshire, England

@MrCoolHandLuke @PairoMayniaq @Telegraph Much of the country can't and will never get Freeview or full fibre broadband. In future it will be the same with 4G and 5G and whatever comes next.

@WonPeople Nothing you can’t watch a repeat of on any other freeview channel. Never listen to any BBC radio either.

  • RonanCollins29 DjRonanC #RestoreTheSnyderVerse #ReleaseTheAyerCut (@RonanCollins29) reported

@SAORVIEW Not many channels, it be great if you added music, more entertainment and movie channels to your service we are living in 2022 and the UK has over 85 Freeview and Ireland has 11 channels. What's the point of paying for a TV licence.

  • garyscott8383 Gary Scott (@garyscott8383) reported

@Lakeuk @timfarron The company dvtv that administrates the UK Freeview network is owned by the BBC.... They choose not to give us the full offering ( that we pay for all the same) so we pay for less service (Tim knows this it was his own campaign when Freeview first came out) we also can't get dab

  • RainbowChazer Music is my first love. And it will be my last. (@RainbowChazer) reported

@wargandonor @David__Osland My argument entirely. Stick it in general taxation to preserve Freeview and radio (which are apparently important to many people) and make the rest of it subscription only. Happy to support my Twitch streamers who are the reason I have to pay the licence fee in the first place.

  • PCarmichaelVO Paul Carmichael (@PCarmichaelVO) reported

@d0hertyry4n @TomRafferty4 Well of course it isn’t. Yes. You said on your other tweet that you think only Freeview viewers (the elderly and poor) should pay. 👍

  • lofty2401 🌻 David 🌻 (@lofty2401) reported

@DuncanLindsay @MrDavidEBrown @MetroUK An hours news??? Not necessary bearing in mind the BBC news is 24 hours as is Sky news, both on Freeview. I’m sorry but this is bad scheduling.

  • garyscott8383 Gary Scott (@garyscott8383) reported

@Lakeuk @timfarron The BBC adminiser the Freeview network as part of the TV license and that includes the infrastructure

  • PCarmichaelVO Paul Carmichael (@PCarmichaelVO) reported

@d0hertyry4n @TomRafferty4 Yes, sure. Because you’re incapable of answering anything on the subject. You’re not coming at it from a position of knowledge. I mean everyone in the industry acknowledges the Freeview problem doesn’t have a solution. That’s a given. Or can you solve what the experts can’t?

  • MediaBoyUK Media Boy UK (@MediaBoyUK) reported

@mashcore4mums @a516digital I know that Channels are move down one EPG number on Freeview on January 26th. I have not seen news on BBC ONE HD England channels being moving to Channel 101 on January 26th on Virgin Media. When BBC ONE HD Scot. was moving I did see info screen about the move for a week before

  • ukdtt UK Terrestrial TV (@ukdtt) reported

Channel 23, BBC THREE, has been added to PSB1 (East W) (was unlisted [Service 0x10c0]) #Freeview
