  • ellrbrown Elliott Brown (@ellrbrown) reported from Birmingham, England

@mrgrahamreed @BBCiPlayer I think I only saw season 1 on Sky 3 on Freeview. Never saw the rest of it. The classic '70s Battlestar got shown on BBC 2, in the '90s.

  • DamienAshton Damien Ashton-Wellman (@DamienAshton) reported from Birmingham, England

Looking through the festive TV schedule and there's no Muppet Christmas Carol on any of the freeview channels this year. Never wanted @DisneyPlus to launch more than right now.

  • unit_1974 🐺Wolfish (@unit_1974) reported from Birmingham, England

@Matey30 @virginmedia Nothing less than I’ve come to expect from them. Service has been so bad which is why we’ve left their tv service. Had to keep the broadband for now due to limitations of other local providers. Now watching freeview…

@a516digital I personally am happy for an ip future, if and when it finally takes off. But i think the bbc might be too ambitious for 2030. Freeview is a good service where you can get it.

  • MediaBoyUK Media Boy UK (@MediaBoyUK) reported

1/3 BBC Scotland HD which broadcast every evening from 7pm on Freeview, moves to channel 106. BBC Four HD, which the BBC is planning to close in 2024, is moved down to channel 108. The move is due to complete around midday on December 14th. Viewers may need to rescan their TV.

  • princessmaire1 Andrea ☘️ (@princessmaire1) reported

@SkyHelpTeam It’s back on now. You aren’t sympathetic to those in financial difficulty though. Customer service rubbish. If it weren’t for the fact there’s no Freeview signal here and no Virgin I wouldn’t keep the contract on (although the last lady I spoke to was good I will say)

  • DDubya82 Daniel Whittle (@DDubya82) reported

@davechannel @NEReviews Watching on freeview transmitting from winter hill. It’s not isolated to this one programmes it’s multiple programmes, QI, house of games, travel man, and last night, the Bad Boys II movie. This is being watched on a panasonic TV with integrated freeview.

  • atrichoke Hugo Tyson (@atrichoke) reported

@JANUSZCZAK It's free live on Freeview. But you have to find it and record it at the time: there is no catch-up service like iPlayer &c. That's the PITA that makes me with much regret miss most of your stuff. No replay.

  • IsThisRoss Rossco (@IsThisRoss) reported

Looking back on the early part of the first lockdown I mainly remember dealing with the possible curtailment of humanity by watching Challenge on Freeview for hours. Never thought that would be my reaction.

  • ChrisCooper_22 Chris Cooper (@ChrisCooper_22) reported

I asked my partner to cancel the sky sports package as I use Now TV for it. She infact cancelled the entire Sky package, meaning all we can now watch is the One Show and Dress to Impress 😲, not even Gold TV is covered on freeview :( #SkyTV

  • AndyGraysdouble Robert Martin (@AndyGraysdouble) reported

@Honeythedog1 A contract is a contract, if they ramp the price up you can presumably repudiate it and go else where, like NOW, or be like me. I‘ll never take a SKY package. Freeview ( aka Cooncil telly +) , Amazon Prime and Netflix might be a decent low cost bet.

  • tgemeda22 Tola Gemeda (@tgemeda22) reported

@oocukkidstv @retromod8 @NionLogos182 I remember there was also iPlayer on Freeview (on my TV at least) from strong memory along with Channel 5's On-Demand service, Demand 5 (now My5).
