@Phil_Nourse @colinshone2 And the people said I’ll watch freeview and then said, well that wasn’t so bad and decided to cancel their virgin bloody broadband and moved to Sky on a better deal than £80 per month and now pay £49. That’s what we did 😁

@LGUK Just bought a brand new 2020 model smart TV. Outrageous that it doesn’t support Freeview play. Can’t get ITV player or All4. Thought that’d be standard. Knew I should have went for the Samsung. Looks like a trip back to the shop to return it #LG #Wasteofmoney

@salbags60 Good idea, one of the extra BBC channels that are viewable on Freeview but then we have the problem of age related lessons

@NaomiLWood @Digbylj Common misconception. BBC doesn't receive EU subsidy. It has made use of grants to help set up DAB radio and Digital Freeview switchover but this money (around £4m) wasn't used for programming or content. This info is quite widely available.

@mostlyceltic81 Why did you not buy one with Freeview built in then?? Seems like poor research before a major purchase to me.
