@Phil_Nourse @colinshone2 And the people said I’ll watch freeview and then said, well that wasn’t so bad and decided to cancel their virgin bloody broadband and moved to Sky on a better deal than £80 per month and now pay £49. That’s what we did 😁

Watching Ideal World on Freeview ch 51. Peter Simon still flogging stuff you never knew you needed. Exercise freak is advertising a vibrating machine and he has varicose veins. Much preferred Simon on Bid TV where he was allowed to go bonkers. He looks fitter now tho, relatively.

Has anyone else noticed how many times you have too retune FreeView? I’ve seen any difference in programs of which they conveniently make a statement off say You may not see any difference. So my question is what are they either uploading or down loading???

@CymraegDoctor @S4C It wd be good if could choose subtitles in Welsh on S4C on iplayer, wd help lots to be able to read along, but doesn't seem to be an option as viewer in England? (Used to pick up s4c on old terrestrial telly, but not now on digital/freeview)

  • feetsby Colin Troy 🇺🇦 (@feetsby) reported

@NMBCo @hardistymark Pretty sure East Midlands Today is a standard definition signal slapped into an HD channel. Just got freeview to save money, back to the ol’ ‘High Def not available in your area’ message. If we want to see our news broadcasters in high def, we have to see them down the pub.

  • ITVChannelTV ITV Channel News (@ITVChannelTV) reported

@SollyIan @ITV ITV was recently granted an Ofcom licence which would allow ITV1 to broadcast in HD in the Channel Islands, however, there is currently insufficient Freeview/satellite capacity to provide the service in addition to other channels. We are aware of the issue and are working to fix.

  • Tonychrizo Tony C (@Tonychrizo) reported

@SecretPrisoner Probably in possession of a mobile phone, nice fat canteen and facilities to cook own food, access to drugs and Freeview box, probably ******** some **** officer and not giving a **** about anyone else but self

  • acarvalhoramos André Carvalho Ramos (@acarvalhoramos) reported

@9edroPires @pqp_f1 If you watch or record TV on any channel via any TV service (e.g. Sky, Virgin, Freeview, Freesat), you need to be covered by a TV Licence. 1/2

  • Mide Midé (@Mide) reported

Hold on...is it me or have they made Non-HD channels terrible on purpose? Is it supposed to upsell everybody to get smart TVs and Freeview?

  • FreeviewAdvice Freeview Advice (@FreeviewAdvice) reported

@jenessa93 @FreeviewTV Hi Jenessa, I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your Freeview Reception. So, we can investigate this for you, can you please DM us your postcode and house name or number? Thanks, Dylan

  • uncriticalsimon Simon 🤖 (@uncriticalsimon) reported from Newport, Wales

Why is the BBC World Service so hard to obtain EXCEPT in the one area which is explicitly not the target audience? In the UK the World Service is available 24/7 on DAB and I think Freeview and Freesat/Sky.

  • Royporingland Roy Steward (@Royporingland) reported

@skytv very disappointed with the customer service with sky, I switch to sky glass only to find out No Freeview channels. so I go back to skyQ and is given a second mini box but find out cannot use it when using the first one in another room. They then want another £25 2use it
