Anyone here who lives in London, who watches, or at least, can watch Freeview TV (terrestrial, rather than satellite/streamed TV), can you check whether it's working? I'm not home, so can't check. Wondering if there is a Crystal Palace transmitter problem. Thanks

@FreeviewAdvice Our freeview reception has all@of a sudden started playing up this afternoon (around 4pm), it’s all channels, doesn’t seem to be an issue internally and we don’t have strong weather conditions etc… our postcode is BS20. Is there a general issue?

@FreeviewAdvice Hello, I need some help tuning my TV for Freeview etc. I've tried a few times (and I have a digital aerial) without success. Also trying to update the various apps and that's not working either (the TV is connected to my WiFi).

@BenJohn45874515 Freeview is a very patchy service, and what you get very much depends on where you live, if you live near a relay for example you only get around 20 channels, if its a transmitter you get around 70, or half what you get off freesat or the free channels on sky.

@WalkingRichard Trying to get my GenX friend to watch more TV. There is LOADS on Freeview channels you cannot get streaming. Streaming catalogues are horrifically narrow And watching something on a whim when you come across it also expands your exposure to stuff you'd never select on a streamer

@Mark56623345 Apparently you can watch test transmissions on Freeview. Not sure how though as I've never had Freeview before.

  • Redtagheur Eddie (@Redtagheur) reported

Virgin Media prices going up again, MUCH MORE than the rate of inflation (again). For the same old **** that no-one watches. I'm leaving. Freeview will do now.
