  Anyone here who lives in London, who watches, or at least, can watch Freeview TV (terrestrial, rather than satellite/streamed TV), can you check whether it's working? I'm not home, so can't check. Wondering if there is a Crystal Palace transmitter problem. Thanks

  @cmairsy @virginmedia Zen for internet - rock solid and great customer service, not that you’ll need it. But after ditching Virgin we went down the freeview route, I’m afraid.

  @TalkTV @cjsnowdon @iancollinsuk I don’t necessarily believe a sub model would work, but as an initial step they should require subscription-based logins at least for their TV and web-based services (radio maybe less practical). Maybe just have SD broadcasts on Freeview and require streaming for HD due to practicalities (Sky shouldn’t be an issue). This way those who don’t pay (for a license) will find it hard to view, and it would also cut off more overseas users who view without paying.

  At the moment both Killer In My Village and Britain's Countryside Killers are showing the same case. I hope the poor girl's family aren't checking the freeview channels.

It remains on Freeview (for now) but is said to be suffering financial problems.

  Worst case scenario on That's TV channels on Freeview I'm posting this because Freeview channel 75 That's Entertainment deadline is over and nothing been broadcasting yet the deadline was on Wednesday 22nd July 2026. Freeview channel 7 & 8 That's Local channels are not affected by this. All That's channels on Freeview will be removed from the EPG without notice.   @UKLabour I'd say there are enough channels on Freeview for the open university to train up the people we need for #NHS etc. foreign pupils could enrol and pay for registration. it could even support advertising and be used similar to the bbc overses broadcasts in WWII

  @Steven59066 @AmandaMounthump My idea to write to parliament. You're a kind man and they shouldn't be making decisions like this, which will cause you problems and upset, so it will. They need to be told its not right and the decision needs stopped. Although someone told me Freeview might actually stay
