Anyone here who lives in London, who watches, or at least, can watch Freeview TV (terrestrial, rather than satellite/streamed TV), can you check whether it's working? I'm not home, so can't check. Wondering if there is a Crystal Palace transmitter problem. Thanks

@UKTVPlayHelp All the other streaming apps work ok, iPlayer, ITV X, All 4, My 5, aswell as Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The problem is only with the Freeview Play platform.

  • DJGaryBaldy DJGaryBaldy (@DJGaryBaldy) reported

@yoothaismyqueen If there's a film that's being shown way too often on Freeview it's that film it's never off Talking Pictures only so many times you can watch it in 12 months.

  • HewiEdwards Wayne Edwards (@HewiEdwards) reported

@UKTVPlayHelp Hi, it is via the Freeview Play platform, which is a pre-installed app. There is no dedicated UKTV Play app in the Philips Saphi app store. The problem seems to occur on all UKTV channels. The last time it was working, was probably about 1 month ago, that I can remember.

  • AlexLaverty4 Alex Laverty (@AlexLaverty4) reported

@rickygervais I never watched it. If it's on Netflix I'd need to **** ma granny. If it's on Prime I'd rather shimmy Besos shiny we heid. If it's on Disney I'd rather watch Mickey Mouse copulating with Donald Duck. But if it's on Freeview..... trying catch it

Hi @plex, Seasons Greetings to you all. I'm looking to add a USB TV device to my @NVIDIASHIELD, I'd prefer to use Freesat as it's better quality than Freeview but @HauppaugeHQ say you don't support DVB-S - is this likely to change anytime soon - especially as DVB-T is at risk?

@paullewismoney Every other ad is abt gambling on freeview with the usual disclaimer, don't gamble too much, it's bad for you. Worrying & sad.

@micronautsFan @NoContextBrits To be fair up until about 20 years ago (roughly) we had 5 whole channels haha. When satellite TV came in then Freeview as I am sure you know, it all changed but we never had the US style 200+ cable channels until quite late on.
