Anyone here who lives in London, who watches, or at least, can watch Freeview TV (terrestrial, rather than satellite/streamed TV), can you check whether it's working? I'm not home, so can't check. Wondering if there is a Crystal Palace transmitter problem. Thanks

Interesting, I signed up to a forum account on Digitalspy forums and had to wait for an admin to authorise it, but the account ended up being deleted 24 hours later. All I wanted to do was make a thread to query about a freeview transmitter issue. Incompetent mods. .@digitalspy

@8252Hazel Nope and as the transnitter is down only on DAB radio .... Nothing else ... I think if you download the Freeview app they have BBC tees on it ...not sure if it will work when game time comes

@FreeviewAdvice My sister is severely affected, she has absolutely no signal at all, not everyone has freeview play etc, can you not devert signel to other masts?

  • mattarkwright Matt (@mattarkwright) reported

@virginmedia is there any updates when we’ll get TV working again in DL3?? it’s been down since Tuesday along with freeview

  • abline11 Andy Brown (@abline11) reported

@MrRandomGuy93 @ImVaradi @davywright65 I was Head of Project Management at the BBC in 2002 and was responsible for creating Freeview in 6 months after ITV Digital failed after years of trying. Maybe you think someone waved a magic wand and it was born in a garage. 🙄🙄🙄🙄 You muppet (although I don’t want to be rude)

@FreeviewAdvice I see nobody from Freeview has had the nerve to reply to any of these comments. So much for customer service. Matches the execrable customer service displayed so far since the service went off.

@hackerb0t Example. I was at a recycling dump and a guy was throwing away a huge LG LCD screen. I said whats up with it? he said"cant get it to tune into tv signal" He said I could take it. Plugged in my pc, ps3 & freeview terrestrial tv box using the scart/hdmi all worked. Opportunities

  • TEOL85 The Evolution Of Life (@TEOL85) reported

@FreeviewAdvice I think you should make a sticky post saying that Freeview is pretty much up and down all week because of full and relay transmitter mass maintenance around most of the UK for the full week. I only just see about it on your website but Twitter is people's first go to to moan.

  • justwatching87 Des yeux en ligne (@justwatching87) reported

@leemurphy100 It has gone ****. The boxes are old and clunky, they make you take Now tv subscriptions for more channels (which suits me but I already have the app so out came the talktalk box). I'd rather they just did phone and broadband rather than charge for a glorified freeview box.

  • MrRandomGuy93 That Random Guy (@MrRandomGuy93) reported

@abline11 @ImVaradi @davywright65 No, I don't need to, I have a garage for that. Whilst I don't want to sound rude, your generation make me laugh when they try and act like they're so much more intelligent but don't even know how to tune in a digital TV to get freeview.
