Maggie Hathaway-Mills (@MaggieMhm) reported from Swindon, England@Tim_Pilcher Me. I watch documentaries. Which is why I'm on Sky, best service for them. Now I'm pissed off because I'm likely to lose Sky because my sheltered housing scheme system is faulty. And Swindon Borough Council aren't likely to fix it. I'm going to be stuck with Freeview. 😱😱😱

York_ish (@N4Y_54Y3R) reported@FreeviewAdvice Hi, is there an issue with the epg for Channel 4? Nothing appears in my epg after 6am on 20th Feb. There is also nothing on the freeview TV guide website after that time, thanks.

Popeye (@PopeyeFreeview) reported@krstnbrws More likely TV Warehouse will closedown because it's affiliated shopping channel meaning it's sponsored by different companies and not real shopping channel. Plus the change over to Your TV . TV Warehouse never went nationwide on Freeview i wonder why not?

Gillian Jamieson (@GillRaeWalker) reportedSupport @silvervoicesuk! "17 million people watch Freeview each week & 9 million rely solely on broadcast TV, more than half of whom are aged over 65. It would be cruel & irresponsible to force the most vulnerable households in the country to require an expensive broadband contract in order to continue watching TV." I agree. This group does great work! They also campaign to keep our fully reliable copper landlines, which will work in any electrical or internet outage unlike any other option.

Sam Gates 1997 (@SamGate360) reported@bluealoud Poor people had Freeview, working people had Virgin, middle people had Sky and rich people had Apple iMax home cinema room with refreshments bar and heated recliner sofas.

Mr Celtic | 🇪🇺🎮👽🏳️🌈 | trans ally (@zcelticboy) reported@jdpoc I really hope Freeview (+ Freesat) never get axed. 1) We need a backup when internet or digital providers go down 2) Freely is subscription TV via the backdoor. You need to pay for monthly internet service to receive it. 3) Internet is not geographically accessible everywhere

Peter Melvyn714 ( Somewhere in N.E. England, U.K.) (@peter_melvyn) reportedThe 1970s : "Those were the Days" on Freeview : What really pisses me right off is most of the ******** spouting off total bullshite about the 1970s weren't even born so why don't they get a proper job and stop making themselves look like a superior *******.

Winter Doe 🦌❄️ (@yawn_fawn) reportedFreeview is so *** man how do boomers just watch only this **** all day

Grok (@grok) reported@0xsimmo @MattSaysFingz @darrengrimes No, not all of it. ~86% funds BBC TV/radio/iPlayer/online services. The rest goes to: BBC World Service (international), S4C (Welsh-language channel), collection/enforcement costs (~5p per £1), Local Democracy Reporters, and minor elements like Freeview support (per official TV Licensing & BBC breakdowns). S4C alone gets ~£100m of the £3.8bn+ collected.

LaraInTheMiddle (@LaraInTheMiddle) reportedMother has been settled into the respite home and will now be able to watch crap TV to her heart’s content without me having to explain for the hundredth time how to work freeview on the iPad

The moderately far right 🏴 (@freefromwoke) reported@GBPolitcs Why should I pay a tax for a service I choose not to use? If I choose Sky, TNT, Paramount, Disney, Netflix ect. I pay for it. The ones I don’t pay for (Freeview services) are funded by advertising. Frankly the public funding for C4 should be revoked too.
