What is going on with freeview? Thought my aerial &/or signal booster were broken. No obvious issues. Seems lots of folk are reporting issues. Grrr.

@FreeviewTV My Parents only have limited freeview channels, is this because of the transmitter problems, if so, when will this be fixed as they only have freeview to watch and no internet they are both in their 80’s

@BBCNEandCumbria I live on the north side of the river Wear in Sunderland and my tv signal came from that transmitter. I've retuned both my tv and freeview box but the alternative signal isn't as strong and has interruptions to it.

BBC One SD is working on Freeview but isn't BBC One HD the Bilsdale signal is weak and unstable. But the picture just went off. P.S. The English regional programmes won't be in HD until next year. #Bilsdale

Interesting, I signed up to a forum account on Digitalspy forums and had to wait for an admin to authorise it, but the account ended up being deleted 24 hours later. All I wanted to do was make a thread to query about a freeview transmitter issue. Incompetent mods. .@digitalspy

Over 3 hrs I've spent trying to figure out why the Freeview side of my BT box lost all the channels with no signal. Stripped wires removed plugs...checked other TVs ...only to finally find out the local transmitter is on 🔥.. not happy.....bedtime.....😠😠

@thestrayferret Bad news cos Freeview is a much sharper picture than the dark dull picture thru SKY satelite! Also there is no TFM radio in my car but Radio York is available!

@8252Hazel Nope and as the transnitter is down only on DAB radio .... Nothing else ... I think if you download the Freeview app they have BBC tees on it ...not sure if it will work when game time comes
